Their Customer Service is shocking — to the point of being non-existent. I had baggage that was delayed — on two separate international flights my whole family’s baggage didn’t arrive. After months of trying to get the compensation stipulated on their website, they finally agreed to pay and sent me a form to complete. Now, 2 months later I am still struggling as they have just ignored the form and no payment has been made. This compensation is clearly stipulated on their website and should have been paid immediately the baggage was delayed for more than the stipulated period. They don’t answer phones, message or anything. They don’t even reply to the emails I have sent to the people who approved the compensation. Apparently they lose or misplace international luggage on a regular basis. So this is a warning to anyone flying with ETH — make sure you are prepared to lose your luggage - make sure you have adequate insurance. Because dealing with ETH is a nightmare.
Servers are always running efficiently. Tech support is quick and efficient. I've been with them for 15 years or so and I have never had a problem. Smooth as can be. Highly recommended.
I have tried to renew my licence. I can't register. I have mailed them for help, which they provided. The solution they proposed did not work. I mailed them again. They did not reply. Multiple times. It seems like any problem is too much to warrant fixing. Bit weird since I am trying to give them money.
As per usual, you can't get hold of a consultant by email or by telephone. Surely you need to employ more people if everyone is busy all the time. This level of service is abysmal — and it has been for years now. PLEASE, PLEASE do something. Also, do you realise some of your clients are outside of SA? I can't enter any number but an SA number. Please, think ahead.
Pity I have to give one star. They are useless. Such a pity — SBSA were a leader in banking 10 years ago. Now, nothing works, and you can't get a consultant who is able to help. I have an email listing 17 problems I have that need attention. From no replacement Credit Card for my expired one - to the website turning blank on me regularly, to not being able to log in to the Mobile App. it's just one thing after another. Nothing gets resolved - the list just grows longer and longer. When will South Africa get a decent bank - they all seem to be useless. My advice - if you are looking for a bank, look to one of the new up and coming zero fee banks. The big corporates like SBSA are just not interested in the average account holder.
Seems like a scam. I can't trade and I can't sell my BTC or LTC. Not sure why this hasn't made the news in a big way but it seems like either some serious fraud has been committed - or the company has been hacked. But they aren't saying which. Either way it seems like they are dead - even if they recover from this who will trust them again?
Non-existent service. Poor product. I wish I could give it zero stars. I wonder when Sage will wake up, probably after the last client leaves.
