I bought a Nissan Pathfinder from them in November 2017 , in August this year the automatic gearbox gave in . Did take a warranty when i bought the car , but damages was R 50 000.00+ and warranty only wanted to cover R 17 000.00 . I went to see Wiehan Griesel at Jakaranda Motors to hear if they are willing to assist . He had a no care attitude and said " it happens" and they cant be held accountable as it is a second hand vehicle. I asked him to buy the vehicle back then , still waiting for him to come back to me......... Layouka there Finance F&I really tried from here side by speaking to the warranty company and getting them to raise there pay out to R 22 000.00 . Thank you Layouka . I know it was not your responsibility . I am sitting with a vehicle that's 8 months old and still need to pay it off over 4 years , Its already broken !!, come on Jakaranda Motors , what type of cars are you selling !!! I will be reporting them to the RMI , CPA and Ombudsman.

Great staff and clean facility. Very professional, polite and they really try to work with you to get the exact vehicle that you want. I Highly recommend Jakaranda Motors to anyone looking for a pre-owned vehicle.

I am highly upset and shocked at the deceitful, deviant, unprofessional, unethical and UNLAWFUL behaviour of the employees of Jakaranda motors. I recently advertised my vehicle on cars.co.za as a private seller and was approached by Jakaranda motors to come to their dealership, as they would like to help me sell my vehicle and advertise it on several websites. After a telephonic conversation with one of the dealers, I informed the dealer that my vehicle was still under warranty and has a full service history and shared particulars of the vehicle for selling purposes. When arriving at Jakaranda motors, I was received by the dealer salesman and informed that they will only take pictures of my vehicle for adverti*****t purposes and was asked if they could park my vehicle for a wash before taking pictures. I handed my keys over to the employees responsible for parking the vehicle and was escorted to the offices to discuss the process. After waiting for more than an hour, I was told they were done with the vehicle. When getting into my car I noticed that there was more than 30km additional on the clock and the vehicle computer indicated that the car was speeding heavily. I confronted the dealer salesman as to why his employees decided to take to my car for a drive, as I never gave consent for a test drive and seeing that the car is under warranty there was no need to do so. He told me that he will investigate the matter and come back to me, after a while he phoned me back to inform me that it is not normal practice for employees to take cars for drives when under warranty and admitted that the mechanics took my vehicle for a test drive and “forgot” to give me feedback. The reason for deciding to take a test drive with my car, they wanted to inspect the gearbox, and in order to do so they had to speed with the car and “push the car in red” to determine if there was a problem. Further to this, he said I can be lucky they did that as they found a vibration on the gearbox. I told him that prior to coming to Jakaranda motors there was no vibration, he responded by saying “luckily your car is under warranty” and that I should just take my car to the dealership I have a warranty with so that they could fix it. I told the dealer that this is totally unacceptable and asked how he, the dealer, intends to deal with it, his only response was that he is sorry and he will have a word with his employees. I am upset and feel wronged! How is it possible that you can under the pretence of wanting to help me sell my vehicle, take my car for a joy ride, speed with it, break my gearbox and excuse it all by saying, “luckily your car is under warranty”???? RIDICULOUS, DEVIANT, CORRUPT!!

I saw the beetle,2006 model. The sales lady said it had been standing in a garage. She said I should rather buy a more expensive car,I said I could not afford it . She assured me that she would fix everything as it had been standing for a long time. From the beginning the car had problems starting, then the lights did not work. Almost every second day we had to get someone to jumpstart the car. Then suddenly the windows fell out, some electrical problem. Every time we had to pay up to a R2500 for services and parts. I kept phoning this sales women, she said"I told you not to buy the car"and she said bring it in, you have a guarantee on the mechanical parts, but you must pay for the labor. I said I want my money back.

I have taken the car to 5 different dealers, they say the car was in an accident and should be written off.

I want my money and all my expenses back. This is not the way to deal with people. The owner also tried to threaten me when I wrote him a letter. This has been going on for 2 years, no car no money

My child is a student, we suffer to pay for Uni and now we suffer gravely to make arrangements for transport. This is like stealing from the poor, it is a disgrace.
