SHOCKING!!! What do you do when the owner of the business screams at you in your own home? Poor quality of work! Rude attitude! takes forever to reply to e-mails. Unprofessional!! The list goes on!! A nightmare dealing with this company. Geoff is the rudest person I have ever done business with!

****ING HELL!!!!!!~! Is this what you call service !! RE: Claim number 123 Yes I am swearing because I am not at the very end of my patience and so would you be! I am so ****ing angry I do not know what to do So today I take ANOTHER DAY OFF work , the JD guys arrive again with the wrong thing. I get told the company they ordered from supplied the wrong thing and they tell me they supplied what was ordered It has taken TWO WEEKS to get to this on top of the 1st week In the meantime our furniture which has been standing outside is getting damaged INCLUDING with the rain on Tuesday got wet. My wife and I were at 3am trying to save some of it In meantime I am getting what is in effect a BIG MIDDLE FINGER from all involved with no one prepared to take responsibility This is an absolute disgrace and I will make my experience public on social media PLUS send the story to all your competition for them to share At this stage I will send you an invoice for my hours of not being able to earn an income as I have had to take numerous days off work to be at home to supervise work NOT DONE And now we go into 4 weeks Why were we not just given the money so we could have managed it ourselves instead of messing me around for 4 weeks! ***!!!!!!! Peter Good afternoon Is it possible to actually get some real service here or is it all just lip service? Peter Tuerk Hi sorry this is becoming an issue JD came last Monday but as floors still had damp could not do any work and returned on Friday. All good EXCEPT they brought white edging and not edging as per quote to match the floor. Problem we have is our furniture from that room has now been standing outside for two weeks as we wait for the edgings to arrive and for the work to be completed If the correct edgings had been brought last Friday the work would be completed I would appreciate the job being completed by the end of this week. Considering this claim dates back to early 2020 Kind regards

The worst flooring company in the business. Was forced to use them by my insurance company. 3 months and my laminated flooring looks worse off. Broken laminate flooring, uneven flooring installed. Worse workmanship ever with no proper support from branch. Lots of photos to prove it.

After my previous review i want to post a follow up. After a meeting with Charlotte from John Dore Flooring we come to an agreement that the amount of R? will be paid out to us as a goodwill gesture. She got approval from ABSA to do so,and to update my policy. The above montioned case is resolved and I want to thank Charlotte for the help and profesionalism in which she handled the case.

I had a claim in 2014 at ABSA insurance ckaim no 2680994 for damages to my carpets due to a burst fishtank. John Dore Flooring was appointed as the contractor. They came out to assest the damage and to do measurements. They then adviced us that the wood underneath the carpets was wet,and it would be better to fit tikes if we would agree. They then went on and got approval from ABSA. They informed us that ABSA approved the fitment of tiles, and that we could go and pick a tile from CTM but it has to be for R79 a square meter and not more. We picked the tiles and John Dore flooring went to collect the tiles from CTM vereeniging. Never did anybody tell us that actually ABSA approved for carpets. We started having problems with the tiles, the grout all started coming out,so we replaced the grout that was out.Now the tiles is starting to lift everywhere and its not only the grout anymore. I locked a claim with ABSA again no 3961119. The assessor came out and also mentioned that the tiles sound hollow. After about 3 werks of waiting and phoning ABSA they informed me that they never approved the fitting of the tiles in 2014....Now my question is....How was I ti know they never approved the tiles, when John Dore flooring said it was,and they were paid for the job. How is going to fix my tiles now???????

I had no choice but to use this company as this was an insurance claim by Nedbank. Poor instillation and workmanship meant the floorboards came apart. No surprises there.. no attention to detail and poor finishes. SHOCKINGLY bad teams of workers, the first team who don't appear to know what on earth they were doing, a and the second team turning up hours later than they are supposed to and adhered to NO safety measures during a pandemic with masks off, coughing in my house and asking me for medicine (headache tablets) for a sick worker. This is winter - now 7pm at night and they are cutting and grinding in a small complex having said they would be there at 2pm that very day. After first messing up my floors as they just haphazardly lay Traviata boards over a completely uneven surface as the floorboards come apart, I have to call them to come back to look at the mess. They blame it on a faulty batch of floorboards when actually They then send the same team who wrecked the first job to 'fix it' - which to no surprise they again mess up, with a another half job of the screeding that the floors are so uneven a test we did with a ball ran downhill at a speed in my daughters room the floor was so skew. Enter new team to fix what said first team could not get right. We are now on to the THIRD fix up, the new contractor saying he ‘can’t believe what a mess it is.. The instillation team promised to come and conclude the job that very week once realizing that they had hit a slight snag in that they could not put the boards back where they were before - with the endless fixing/layers of screeding muck up that *surprise* the skirting no longer fits under some spaces as the floor level kept on raising with each mucked up attempt ( go figure! ) I am now sitting with no skirting or quarter rounds and emails ignored and radio silence. It will be taken up with Nedbank insurance and SAWLFA. Have proposed various solutions which are ignored. Please contact me for pictures and if you want a first hand review of this company - I highly recommend thinking twice before going down this route and if an insurance company allocates them, ask for an alternative! mdekock004@gmail.com
