Cheap prices= cheap quality
kaleideo.eye.clinic@gmail.com On 31 May I went to Kaleideo Eye Clinic in Benoni. I found them advertising on Facebook with wonderful prices. I had my eyes tested, picked frames, and paid them R2,160. On 14 June I went to collect my new glasses. Put them on and can't see at all. Total blur. Requested a refund from the very unpleasant man at the desk. I was told to go away till Tuesday. I have sent a WhatsApp and email to the owner. Zero response. So now I have had to lodge a complaint at the CGOS. Always remember that 'goedkoop is duur koop' 😓

Exceptional Service from Dr. Cloete at Kaleido Eye Care – Highly Recommended!
I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing Dr. Cloete at Kaleido Eye Care in Kempton Park after I lost my glasses and needed a new pair. I had never met him before, but I was immediately impressed by how professional and kind he was. He took the time to explain everything to me clearly, making sure I understood my eye health and prescription. I was so impressed with his service that I took my 13-year-old niece to see him as well. She was nervous about wearing glasses and worried that other kids might bully her. Dr. Cloete was incredibly patient and compassionate — he took the time to talk to her, explain why glasses were important, and helped her feel confident and comfortable. I also brought in one of our staff members who had been assaulted and lost most of his vision. Although his condition was beyond what glasses could help with, Dr. Cloete still sat with us, discussed potential options, and referred him to an ophthalmologist. He gave him hope when he needed it most. Dr. Cloete is a truly exceptional person — not just a skilled optometrist, but someone who genuinely cares about people. I highly recommend him to anyone needing professional, compassionate eye care. Thank you, Dr. Cloete and the team at Kaleido Eye Care!

Bad service
In March 2023 I went there for new specticals. Today the 1 December the frame broke. Now they want to tell me it's ware and tear. They don't want to replace the frame. No client service at all, and the receptionist is very rude towards customers.

Excellent, personal service and best prices
Excellent service! Friendly staff, knowledgeable optometrist who explained everything in detail. I did not feel like "just another patient", but was properly looked after. Prices the best I could find, with a really big selection of frames. Very, very happy!

Highly recommend Kaleido Eye Care Springs
Had a wonderful experience - Highly recommend. I recently had specs made at the Kaleido Eye Care Centre in Springs - the frames are so comfortable - the lenses are made so well and I can see perfectly (and my prescription needs are not simple). The Dr and staff were great. Super affordable in terms of pricing.

Kaleideo Eye Care Kempton Park
Worst customer service ever.... would not recommend them to anybody. I was referred to as "you people" because of my brown skin colour and she literally put her hand up to shut me up.

Non-Effective communication with customers
<div>I would not recommend anyone to visit this eye clinic. Business owner rarely or sometimes doesn't reply to her emails yet they her contacts appear on the business site. Please ensure that there is effective communication with your staff especially when it comes to payment issues to get a #WIN and customer satisfaction.</div>
