Katexas is known for a lot of things, good service & good food is definitely NOT any of them. We arrived at 4, group of 9 for a company event. We were greeted by staff at the entrance, asked for a waiter & immediately the waitress told us that she refuses to serve groups because she doesn't "want to deal" with split bills, which she assumed would happen - it didn't. We ordered drinks at the bar, sat down & after waiting a while, asked the floor manager again for a waiter. The floor manager asked the same waitress we met to serve us, again she refused & went back to the entrance to continue her chat - funny enough, she didn't serve anyone the entire time we were there, just kept chatting outside. Eventually we got a waiter, one guest ordered a fillet steak medium rare & it arrived well done. The other guest ordered a steak with no basting, it came with basting & had to get sent back a total of 3 times before the order came back exactly as ordered. The waiter kept running away not serving the other guests that one guest had to block him from leaving again just to order some food. Buffalo wings were ordered, it came back rock hard, also, you charge that price just to get a total of 4 wings!? Four? Seriously? Chicken strips were ordered, it came back rock hard & again only half the order came. We were waiting for our last order for almost an hour, a simple burger. When we asked the waiter where the burger was, he had no clue what we were talking about, so we just ended up leaving it. Funny enough, the place wasn't even busy & there were so many tables open yet this is what you get? The group decided to just get the bill because the whole outing was such a waste, to top it all off, at the end of our R1600-something bill, the waiter had the audacity to ask if we're not going to give him a tip??? That place is a joke.

I went for an interview at Katexas. When I got there , the receptionist lady was very mean and bombastic, I was nervous as any person would be for an interview & she made it so much worse. When I told her I couldn't do the interview due to the working hours , she ripped up my interview papers right in front of me. I thought I would spare them the time and not waste it , I was being respectful and honest. I really don't think the way she handled the situation was very professional and I am not pleased with their service! The receptionist is the one who represents the businesses "image" , and I did not find her to be a good impression. I don't think I would book with them very soon. I ordered food(steak and chips) for delivery and i was promising the food would be delivered between 30min to an hour. 1hour 30 minutes later my food gad not arrived and they had not communicated anything with me. It was when i called to follow up was then that they told me they were having car trouble. When the food finally arrived thee were no salt and pepper sachets included

at first when we arrived we waited 30 min for an waitor/ waitress. at last when we caught attention the lady serviced us had no people s****s and had such bad temper and attitude. after a while trying to order another round something to drink my husband had to go to the bar himself and needed to pay cash. we decided to relax and order a main course so after almost closing time (9:00pm) they brought our food. what a mistake!!!! my steak wasnt as i ordered and neither my husband my plate arrived with 3 patato chips literally. i had to order a side plate chips additipnally. i got furious i demanded to see the manager but he wasnt there they had to phone him to get there.. so we explained him the situation and he adviced hell fix the plates and have it for half price. what a cheec****!!!!! that wasnt the plan he didnt even wNted to understand why we were soo disgusted! evwntually he braught back the "so called fixed plates" and it was exactly the same food we had sent back. this isnt the first time this happend but we left it. but now after the third time because in kathu that the only comfortable place to do something around here and they just doesnt care at all about the customers actually having the money . i dont say the customers is always right but for sure we work hard for our money and deserve the same kind of respect and sercice as they longing to have at a place.
