WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! A staff member broke my Samsung S25 Ultra C-type 45w charging cable (valued at R399) while cleaning. I reported the incident Tuesday (17/02/2026) to Drika at the Front Desk to replace the item and was advised it is under investigation and I will be contacted. She then tried to replace it with a Volkano cable (valued at R79), which I did not accept. 2 days later (19/02/2026) Mike, who works surveillance, was informed and has not reverted back. Every day is a different story; no one contacted me as they said they would after several follow-ups on numerous occasions. Mike advised he would arrive Saturday afternoon (21/02/2026) to investigate; however, he did not pitch with no further feedback. Highly disappointed! On arrival the aircon was not working, ****roaches are crawling and the noise levels is peaking through the roof!

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at Khoroni hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well.

Good day The service i received at the hotel was bad. Totally shocking. I would not recommend the place to anyone in future. The service is a zero out of ten. I would like to complain about the treatment i have just received from Khoroni Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Cnr. Mphephu & Phala-phala Street Thohoyandou 0950. I was just manhandled by the security guard. This is unprofessional behaviour that no guest should experience. He grabbed me and restricted me from accessing the hotel. The security guard's conduct was out of line, and I do not expect this from such a hotel.

I’ve visited the hotel on three occasion this December, just a mere chicken order takes two hours. I’ve never come across such an awful poor service, and will not recommend anyone to go and order food at the hotel

We are very disappointed with my family by the service we received at the hotel, we went to have Christmas lunch and we thought it's a buffet but when we got there we were served and the que was very long with only one waiter serving and she was also disappearing leaving us unattended, the staff was rude even the managers. The food were not refilled when finished they will just tell you it's finished but be expected to pay full price

The experience was so horrible, I stayed for a month and I got to a point were I just ignored every bad service I received. You will call to order food in the evening-the food will take 2 hours and when u complain you will just get a sorry and no improvements the following day, same thing in the morning due to busy schedule you request a breakfast pack an hour before you leave the hotel-at the time of departure it's still not ready when you complain you'll get a sorry with no improvements. Phones at times are out of order which means no room service you literally have to go to the reception area and make such arrangements. I'm really not happy as a result I'm not enjoying my stay at Venda because where I thought it's home it's actually frustrating.
