Since DAY 1 that I arrived - First unit- we had trouble finding the unit as the resort area is so dark.. we then finallly found the unit… the roof was leaking and water all over the hairdryer and table and further it wasn’t the unit I initially booked - spoke to the manager he moved us to another unit… we had to pack everything up all on our own… NO HELP FROM STAFF and move to another unit the same night … - the 2nd unit- the mattresses were wet unit was dirty - the manager moved us to the 3rd unit and said I must WAIT until they find one… after I travelled by car over 10hours with kids … exhausted … I said we will eat at the dinning area while he gets the 3rd unit ready… - same night was finally moved to the 3rd unit … In this unit - we had NO wifi , the fans were not working, the aircon was not working - the unit had insects and was not clean The maintenance man sorted to the lounge fan that nearly fall on our heads however the room fan and the room aircon remain NOT WORKING!! And today since this afternoon — NO POWER at all IN THIS HEAT !!! Also the tv is a smart tv yet doesn’t connect to Netflix nor the internet nor screen sharing to your phone - the MAINTENANCE GUY IS SO GOD DAMN RUDE THAT HE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME I SHOULD TRY AND FIGURE IT OUT BECAUSE HE SAID IT DOESNT WORK - staff in total are unfriendly and not helpful… I received a call from main desk to return 2 pool towels that I used same day yet I am staying at the resort for a week. To go anywhere in the resort you have to walk and trust me the walk is not easy !!! The distance is madness. They don’t even allow you to use the carts or have people to take you to your unit. The power went off this afternoon around 3pm and was only restored at 10:45pm - I was told that the unit they moved me into does not have an invertor and further that they couldn’t reach the maintenance manager telephonically. I reported it to the booking manager, maintenance manager, duty manager and general manager. NEVER BOOKING WITH THEM AGAIN!! Trust me it’s not work it and don’t book with them

Unfriendly Stuff Only for golfers Not anything for familly They overcharge for evrything They hate people that use any kind of devices U cnt do anything but if some 1 hits you with a golfball almost it is ok And if you are a prepper or ham radio operator Look same where else Rarely only for the posh typd and golfers

THIS IS NO LONGER A 4 STAR PLACE. 3 days with an oven that does not work and all they do is send useless people to check and tell us it does not work. No one has come to actually fix the problem. Your Kruger restaurant is also ***, food is still not good.

We returned home before our reservation elapsed because Kruger Park Lodge "Maintenance Crew" switch back power in stages after Eskom return power and takes 10 minutes if you are lucky and up to 2 hours if you are not and they shuffle the order once a week only, thus if you are lucky, good for you but we were NOT. My personal view is that they are saving money on their Eskom account.

We are guests from the United States- I have never seen such poor customer service. Ever. Here is an excerpt from the letter I wrote to the general manager ( which explains what happened) who HAS NOT RESPONDED. . ...., we were booked into the Kruger Park Lodge from September 30th through October 7th! We decided to go to the Kruger Park from Monday the 3rd thru Thursday 6th. I personally went to reception on Sunday night to check in that this was okay and did I need to report to anybody. I was assured this was fine. We left early Monday morning and came back early afternoon on Thursday the 6th to find EVERYTHING that we had left there was gone. I reported it to reception, and housekeeping came by and questioned if we actually left belongings and food here. They tried to pacify us by buying us a packet of food (that we do not eat) at Checkers, to cook in an oven that housekeeping had pointed out was broken. ......And a half hearted "sorry". We went to reception to find you, but spoke to the on-duty manager who seemed to know almost nothing about this situation. It stuns me that that housekeeping can assume that we have checked out, take all our items, not check it into a lost and found, or contact even us. We have paid for accommodation till friday, for the full week.......... We are guests from the United States- having our belongings stolen, told it wasn't true, and not addressing this by any acceptable means, is not the way to treat your guests. This is not an inexpensive place to stay - buyer beware

Absolutely unacceptable service from this accommodation establishment. My elderly parents have been given a top unit with stairs to climb and they just can't! They are there for 10 days and this is going to need up their whole holiday. You can't tell me they can't find a bottom unit anywhere in that big place? This has really upset them!

Kruger park lodge is a beautiful place and the rooms and set up of the chalets is stunning. The service when we arrived was excellent. How ever because we were a group of ladies we were labelled by owners and the security as trouble makers and they assumed we are rowdy. They fined us a 1000.00 for noise and abstraction which did not happen. They kept our breakage deposit because they accused us of breaking the glasses and taking the s****s and cereal bowl. We did not make use of the glasses as we brought our own. We did not use the cereal bowls because we ate the restaurant. As for the s****s we cleaned up after we had coffee and everything was put back in place. The after treatment was horrible. I feel that we were classed because of skin colour.
