Anyone who got hold of these people? How can you solicit such amount of money from different customers and disappear without refunding them or deliver on your promise? They surely know what they were doing. Can SA authority deal with this kind of money Laundering business? Can't we come up with a group to strategies on how we should recover our money?

These people have been lying and clearly have collected payments and deposits from many hopeful new businessmen & businesswomen specifically during the lockdown with many South Africans looking to either supplement reduced income or to earn an income(from their machines and fantastic marketing campaigns) due to loss of jobs. I have contacted them so many times trying to get a refund but was told that parts have already been ordered etc. I too received the e-mail in December 2020 and when I replied I received an out of office message that the company will only open in January, then in January I received an e-mail about the company will be closed but nothing about refunds or what has happened to the parts already ordered and in stock etc. Something drastic needs to be done and urgently. There seems to be many of us here who have been robbed, any suggestions on how to deal with these people?

I placed an order for a CNC machine with Kuhn CNC Machines in 2020. In December they send out an email that they cannot get spares due to covid 19 and will be closing for the Holidays. I was supposed to get my CNC machine in December, all their previous emails stated that they do have spares and there will not be any delays. They stopped answering phones and stopped replying to all emails. On various other CNC forums and Facebook pages, other people were also complaining about the same problems. There are lots of fake reviews on Hellopeter and google about the company and their equipment. They were advertising that they are under new management in January, but block people on Facebook if you ask for the contact details of the new management. The next step will be legal action to get my money back and getting some of their other customers involved that were defrauded, to open a fraud case against the owners of Kuhn machines.

Hello. I paid Khun Machines in August 2020. Payment acknowledged, many interactions to let me know of stock delays. 18 Dec 2020 was last interaction with them. I was told no stock available so the company will be closed until the 18 Jan 2021. However I see here reviews stating delivery during these times. It's been so long since I paid, the machine I ordered is over 4k cheaper now and more specials advertised since my order. I have been watching on their FB page deliveries posted, but again I am told stock shortages. In my last mail I asked if the delivery deadlines previously given were given in good faith and were all the machines delivered ordered before my order. I have recieved no response. I have in this last week mailed all email addresses and called all cell numbers available, also sent WhatsApp msgs to all numbers provided, still no response. As I gather all info now for handing over to lawyers, I go to the FB page now to gather my attempts to contact them there and I see I have been blocked off the FB page. I have made every attempt to contact them for a delivery date as must be done before legal action can be taken, no response. As a business founded on the need to provide for a child, it's sad that now I as a brand new father am put in a ridiculously desperate situation when trying to deal with Khun machines. I have faith here and just want my money refunded. I question the top line of reviews which claim delivery during a time this company was closed due to no stock available to manufacture machines. Could it be fake reviews to push posts like mine down out of view and boost ratings. There are other posts of customers who like me have paid but not recieved anything. Luckily I have a legal policy, easier now to let the lawyers take over.

Our Company order and paid a substantial amount over to them in January 2020 for a machine and the lead time given was 28 Days. We are now in may and after very little to no valuable correspondence we can't get hold of either Bernadette or Grant the so called company phone is off all the time and they dont respond on any mails. Please help if anyone know how to get hold of them or our company will be forced to open up a criminal case of scamming and theft.

To keep an extremely long series of events shortish I will just highlight the important parts in this review. Let me just begin by saying that dealing with Kuhn Machines and Bernadette specifically was some of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. The order: My mom told me about KM's post on FB about a special on CNC routers. I was apprehensive at first and calling and then talking to Marianne didn't help at all. Having a repetionist with no knowledge about these machines should have raised alarm bells but for some reason I didn't worry too much about it. Thus, I caused myself 2-3 months worth of annoyance and legal nonsense to finally get a refund. So we ordered the machine early into September. And orginally my parents would've gone up to Pretoria anyways so they would've picked it up. Real life got in the way and they couldn't, so we decided to get it delivered and pay the delivery extra. We payed our due and ... communication goes dark. No responses after multiple messages/emails or phone calls. We just wanted an ETA on when we would get the machine more or less. After a few days we finally got a hold of Bernadette and was accused of being abusive because we want to know what is happening to a machine we already paid for. All we did was call Bernadette out on her contradictions and then she would get highly defensive and unprofessional. A trend we experienced a lot these past few months. After a bit of back and forth with Bernadette she claimed that someone had a medical emergency and that is the reason the communication was non existent. We eventually got the machine mid October. The machine: When we received the machine I didn't feel excitement or relief it was here, rather I felt perplexed. I order a 800mm high, 1200x600mm CNC router that was supposed to be standalone. I also payed over R3000 for shipping because I thought the weight is why the container was so expensive. Instead I got a broken 3mm thick box and a CNC with no legs. Upon inspecting the rest of the machine I found that the base was made of ~2mm thick square tubing with self tapping *****s, not a full aluminium construction as advertised. The whole machine was flimsy and the gantry's drive system was timing belts tensioned with cable ties. The 3 engineers I told this too was shocked because this is a severely poor design. On top of a poorly made machine I got random holes bored into my machine and instead of using a new piece of metal, they just turned it and used the other side to hide their mistakes. Needless to say I wanted a refund the same day I got my machine in a black bag because the container was unusable. The refund: And here is the biggest problem I had. Communicating with a bunch of unprofessional people who would rather look down on you and play victim than give you a simple refund. I emailed them listing all of my problems and saying I want a refund as is my right, thanks to the Consumer Protection Act. Bryan, the production manager at KM, instead decided to tell me why everything went wrong by blaming the courier, despite admitting in the same email that he wasn't there to quality control the machine. He kept blaming the courier and I told him to stop pointing fingers if he refused to send me proof of the claims. Even with proof that is between KM and the courier, yet somehow it was made my problem. After another response where I told him I just simply want a refund I don't want a replacement because I don't trust them anymore, I was ignored. To this day that email was never responded to. It was sent in the middle of October. After a few phone calls to Bryan we finally got a call from Grant and he told me he would look into it and get back to me the same day. He never got back to me and his number was hidden so I couldn't phone him back. They blocked the number I called them with and a few others. At this point I got the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud involved. They accepted the case and started to contact KM. After multiple attempts my dad tried to get in contact with Bryan and he kept saying he will only talk over emails. Every email was promptly ignored and he decided to call Marianne and Bernadette from his 2nd cellphone. He got into contact with Bernadette and tried to de-escalate the building tension and eventually got them to agree with a refund if we sent them the machine. I finally told the CGSO that we would proceed with this but I am hesitant because these people love blocking communication and going dark. They said if that's the case we can escalate to fraud charges and they will refer the case to the National Consumer Commission. So I sent the machine and it arrived two weeks before this review is posted. KM told me usually these proceedings regarding a refund take a week, but they will try to do it sooner. They didn't... at all. After a week the lies started again. Bernadette said she will send it to their auditor friday because her son is in ICU. First of all this is the second time they use health as a shield. Go and read some of the other negative reviews on hellopeter and you will see they did it to another person as well. Bernadette loves to use people's health as a weapon to avoid responsibility for their unprofessionalism. Monday came and we got another lie saying the accountant, not auditor, will do it in the next 1-3 days. This is already past the promised deadline. Wednesday came and again nothing. All the while our calls are getting ignored and responses are more lies saying they will pay. So finally we got to today. Two weeks after the promised date. Bernadette insisting that the auditor, no longer accountant, already payed it and it should reflect today or MONDAY. Not how transfers work, but sure. So I decided to phone her with my personal number and told her if it doesn't reflect today I will press charges at the police for fraud and escalate. Only then did I get a refund. But, before I got a refund she sent my dad an emotionally manipulative message saying how her son is in ICU and she will not be harassed, how she will use her medical funds for her son to pay us back and tell the auditor to stop the transfer, even going as far as to send a video of her son. It's appalling how Bernadette would use how own child as a shield and play the victim. Also she payed the exact amount, to the cent, for my machine after supposedly "emptying" her 4 accounts. Curious. The conclusion? Bernadette, Bryan and Grant are the most unprofessional lot of people I have ever met in my life. Bryan and Bernadette specifically I never want to encounter in my life ever again because they are vile humans. Do not support these people at all. I wouldn't even wish these 2-3 months on my worst enemies. If you want an affordable benchtop cnc, rather buy the CRON craft from 3dprintingstore.co.za It can't possibly be worse than anything from KM.

I won't go in depth on my experience but as all above given up with them all feels like just yesterday reading the same experiences, I now have a rather large door stop in my way, 47k down the drain so far I now have other people trying to sorting out my kuhn plasma machine prehaps they fix it guess another 10 or 15k later and still just hopes, just rather spend a extra bit more and get a already manufactured / working and test product, better off with even a cheap Chinese product.. The way i feel I would pay someone to come remove there junk out my shop that has costed me half the price I paid for it to try get it sorted 6months down the line I have not been able to complete a actual job on the machine with out controller boards blowing, I would be better off not having to look at the ****py machine standing in my shop...... Can't speak for the other machines but don't purchase there plasmas at all, use it or don't in not going down that road again with them..........

A copy of my post on Facebook re our awful experience with Kuhn machines. Considering that my husband has been blocked on your page and unable to post this himself, I will do so on his behalf. The complaint posted by Barry on Hello Peter could have been our story word for word. Dealing with Kuhn Machines has been a nightmare from the start and is unfortunately still not over. Excuse after excuse. Zero communication and since the 8th of April we still have an incomplete and in our opinion a faulty machine. After more than a 3 month wait, our machine finally arrived, minus the laser. Also without any instruction manual, no *****s to attach the motor, no software, no training and absolutely NO support or communication. We were promised our upgraded laser the following week and 3 weeks later still no sign of it. Emails and WhatsApp messages are ignored, calls not answered and blame passed from one to the other. Bernadette and Grant, you were paid upfront without any problem is it really too much to ask that we get some answers? I am sure I will also be banned from your page after this message but hopefully not before more trusting people handover their hard earned money. You should be ashamed that your clients who have already figured their machines out are providing the technical support that you have been paid to provide.
