The service was very professional and everyone was quite warm and welcoming. I will suggest though that you consult a second Dermatologist before you sign up for Life Hair Restoration Clinic's treatment plan. I consulted a second dermatologist whose treatment plan came up to a total of R2.5k for a 6 month plan, which is a fraction of the amount that Life Hair Restoration Clinic quoted me (R18k for 3 month treatment plan). So my advice is get different opinions before you sign up.

Very unprofessional. The consult with Dean Alistair was good. He reiterated putting the diagnosis for further discussion in an email to me the very next day. That never happened. 2 weeks passed by. I called repeatedly however the receptionist Sayurie Moodley seemed to have not been able to read the contents of my email asking for feedback from the specialist and instead was quick to forward me a quote of R18,500. I had then asked for an email address for Dean. An incorrect email address was given to me. The manager Chere Barends, then responded mentioning the quote to me again which was never asked for. 3 weeks later , I have eventually been able to speak to the manager who seemed willing to sort this out. I was eventually sent an email with the incorrect diagnosis. They seem very dodgy and fraudulent to me.

1. started treatment 6 months ago. 2. initial consultation was very brief and superficial 3. treatment advised, 3x PRP + 3x acupuncture/micro needling + minoxidil 5% for home application as well as saw palmetto and biotin vitamin tablets 4. in November i reported that the minoxidil was burning my scalp, there was no consultation to inspect the damage. monixil dosage was reduced to 2%. 5. reduced dosage still has side effects. itchy, dry scalp. 6. 2nd prp resulted in swelling in my face. i reported this as well. again no follow up by the clinic. 7. treatment incomplete as i have not received all the prp's paid for 8. very poor customer service. no follow up. no expert advise or guidance. 9. there has been NO contact after my last micro needling appointment to discuss the failure of my treatment.

In September 2020 I started a 6 month treatment with Life Hair Restoration Clinic in Fouways. After a very brief consultation which was spent talking more about inconsequential things , rather than about what may have caused my hairloss, etc. I was started on a treatment that would involve micro needling, PRP, minoxidil for home application and vitamins, Biotin and Saw Palmetto. The treatments were scheduled and the money was collected as quickly as possible. (Way before the final treatments were meant to be administered.) There was no discussion on expected outcome or corrective action in the absence of. There was no monitoring or support in place. The whole procedure was conducted in a very non scientific way. By reading up on the internet i can tell that none of this is working. I am left with a bald batch from where the 5% minoxidil burned by scalp. I reported this and the only thing that happened was that the dosage was changed to 2% (no consultation to assess the damage, etc), dry patches on my scalp, that causes constant itching and after one of the PRP treatments I had, caused severe swelling in my face. also something that I called in and never received feedback on. I find it very strange that there are no negative reviews on any of their social media platforms. Customers are not being told that this may not work for them. I feel like I have been ripped off because I made the decision based on the positive reviews and the fact that everything was conducted in very matter of fact way as if there was very little doubt that it would work. I had a consultation about a month back with Dean Alistair. He could see and commented on the fact that there was no progress. and this was just from glancing at my head. He mentioned adjusting the treatment. Again it was done in a very casual way. No examination of my scalp. I have had one more micro needling appointment after that. I was meant to have 1 more PRP before I met with him. Since then there has been complete silence. I called to enquire about a follow up and meant to have a follow-up but nothing has materialised.

My experience with Life Hair Clinic has been horrendous to say the least, not to mention the owner of said company. Below is some of the complaints: • Their Ethics • Dr. Dean Alister aka Naicker is not a doctor • Misleading clients and promising results whilst not owning up to empty promises • This the third hair restoration company Dean has been with, he tries to ruin the reputation and then leaves. • They advertise results yet started operating less than 6 months ago… • Obtain database information in unscrupulous ways.
