I bought a 5kw Deye inverter and 2 x 5kw battery combo deal from them. As it turns out these Lifetide brand batteries are not compatible with Deye inverters… I have confirmed with the Deye inverter manufacturer list of approved batteries and they are not on the list. Waiting to hear from them regarding a refund and return. Not expecting miracles but how are items sold as a combo deal, but the items are not even compatible?

Avoid this business if you expect competent support. They sold me a faulty ****le, could not fix it then said I had to pay to courier it back. So I called to ask to speak to the manager. "The manager does not take phone calls" !

At POS the service is brilliant. Can I ask before I post anything, you ask the staff to at least answer my mail. I was told yesterday that I would receive a call before close of business. All I am requesting is you give me an answer so I can decide a way forward.

I haven't experienced such a disorganized, unresponsive and unhelpful company such as LiFeTIDE Smart Energy in a long time! Firstly we chose them because of the good reviews they have on google. What a mistake... We placed our order on Tue, 16 Apr 24 for nearly R70k worth of solar equipment and received an automated email our items are being prepared on Wed, 17 Apr 24 and then nothing! After week of calling and emailing we finally got hold of someone that could not find our order... after back and forth they found it and we received a ready to collect email on Thu, 25 Apr, 24. I am sure we opted for delivery on the online site but apparently not so we proceeded in asking them to deliver the orders, paid for two separate deliveries and gave them the two addresses to deliver too which was clearly not read! They went and delivered all the items to one address... now Werner sent us this: "I have spoken to my director now. Unfortunately because the system has already been delivered, we cannot collect the system and deliver to the other address. The panels and other items have already been handled and therefore we cannot take responsibility for those items. We will refund you the money you paid for delivery to Krugersdorp. You can contact Kargo National or Heritage Transport to assist you with the transport of those items." How can someone make the mistake, deliver the items to the wrong place, not respond and now basically say "it's your problem"! Thanks LiFeTIDE, Werner and Co

Generator Kind and Lifetide Smart Energy seems to be run by the same people and seeing that I can't find Liferide on Hellopeter I have decided to leave my review of them here. We went to Lifetide to purchase two batteries. When we got there and we had to make an EFT payment. We use the same bank so there was no option for immediate clearance which is normal when the transaction is with the same bank. Only after making payment was we told that we could not get the batteries until the money reflects in their account. We advised them that it is over an hours drive for us to get to them. After realizing that they do not trust us we asked them to rather do a refund, we were promised that they would do the refund the next Friday which will be 5 days as they only do refunds on Fridays. We contacted them on Friday (10/11/2023)and even drove to them again to find out what they delay was with the payment as the confirmed on Thursday that they would do the refund the next day. Their excuse for not doing the refund was that they were in meetings the whole day and that they are not able to refund us. We were told that they would only do the refund the next Friday. We are still waiting for confirmation that the refund will be done by this Friday (17/11/2023). The staff members we were talking to is Wesley and Tamaryn. Please be carful when dealing with this company. Communication is very poor. They conduct themselves very unprofessional and *********. It seems to be the same company as Generator King.
