I visited the Eastgate branch to purchase a new sleeper set for my eldest for school. When we were ready to pay, the friendly jewellery consultant informed us about the current promotion, so off we went to choose a few extra items. While there, I asked about the piercing service. I’ve been wanting helix piercings for a while, and being an “in-the-moment” kind of girl, I decided to go for it, both ears at once, why not? Robert Khuhlane was the most amazing, attentive jewellery consultant I’ve ever dealt with. At no point did I feel like just a number. Even as more clients arrived, the service remained unrushed and professional. The piercing placement was triple-checked to ensure both ears were perfectly matched, and the entire process was handled softly and delicately. Robert truly made me feel that my support for the company matters. I absolutely love my earrings. Thank you for the wonderful service and assistance.

I bought a Tarnish Free Waterproof gold ring 13 December, in total I had it on 5 times, the gold is off all around, took it back but they refuse to take it back. I have other waterproof juwellery which I wear everyday did not happen. Stellenbosch Eikestad Lovisa never again

I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent visit to your store. As a regular customer, I expect a certain level of service, and unfortunately, my experience fell short . I received a gift from Lovisa in the second week of January, but unfortunately, it's not something I prefer. I went to the store on the 30 January 2026 to return it and exchange it for a voucher as I did not have the receipt. The staff member ( Kutlwano) I spoke to initially explained that she wasn't authorized to assist me without a receipt, which I didn't have since it was a gift. She called her manager, Esther, who said she would assist me. I waited for almost half an hour, and when Esther arrived, she was rude and unprofessional . She yelled and talked loudly to someone else while I was there, and when I explained my situation, she refused to help me, citing lack of receipt and proof of purchase date. She even had the audacity to say am fortunate that she came to the store as she knocked off not even remorseful. To my surprise the store was busy to hear that it was only Kutlwano on duty. I'm particularly disappointed that Esther's behaviour didn't reflect the values I expect from Lovisa, especially considering my loyalty to the brand. Her lack of empathy and unprofessionalism was shocking. I'd like to request a review of this incident and hopefully, a resolution that reflects the value of the gift and my loyalty as a customer.

If you have little girls, STAY AWAY, even if you love your own ears. These earrings are made from ****, cheap materials but sold at expensive prices. Every pair we bought for my daughter caused an infection. The so-called “silver” coating wore off quickly. The infection took so long to heal that her ear holes actually closed. Now she has to go through the pain of getting her ears re-pierced just to wear earrings she was excited about. Completely unacceptable. I might as well have ordered from Temu—probably better quality.

I visited Lovisa Sandton on 3rd January 2026. All 3 female staff members here extremely rude and arrogant. The first staff member refused to take off the watches from the stand to allow me to try them on. I had to try them on while they were still locked on the stand. The second staff lady refused to give me gift bags with my purchases. I bought 3 travel jewelry bags and 1 watch set and she shoved everything into two bags, it didn’t even fit and she said that she doesn’t have enough bags for everyone and that they limit the bags to two per customer. The third lady had to adjust my watch because it didn’t fit me and she scratched it in the process and was so rude about it even though it was her fault. She then proceeded to pull out one of the links with her mouth when it didn’t work with the tool. That is so unhygienic and unprofessional. I was so disgusted. I always try to be fair and understanding, but to my knowledge the principle of “the customer is always right” exists for a reason. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect I’m so very disappointed that a well known shopping mall like Sandton delivers such poor service to their customers.

Had a nose piercing done at the Cresta store in November and the service I got was exceptional 🤝, This morning my nose ring fell and went to Lovisa Maponya mall to buy a new nose ring, the 2 ladies there we not helpful at all... They watched me struggle in finding the right nose ring as the piercing is still fresh.. So I finally decided on a pair and went to pay.. I still told the lady my issue and all she said was yes they do come off... So I asked if I could use the mirror and put back the nose ring, she said yes and walked away... Not to help another customer but she was no where onsite... So I struggled to put back the nose ring and after a whole 10-15min I finally got the ring right.. but to my surprise the ring stalk is shorter than the actual nose ring I had... And if came off,.. I then decided to buy another pair of nose rings but this time the curving ones... This time I was assisted by another lady to pay and tried to make some small talk about my frustration with the nose ring, all she said was they do come off from time to time and continued with whatever she was busy with.. Again I used the store mirror to insert the nose ring with no assistance from you staff. I got it right and left the store So mu frustration is that, if your staff member was able to assist when I first bought the nose ring, I was surely not going to buy the first pair but opt for another pair .. Zero customer service from your staff and now I am stuck with a pair that I will never use because of I was never assisted as a customer to ensure I am happy with what I get.. I am truly disappointed with the team in Maponya mall,I don't want to lie... I have visited your Cresta store, Rosebank store and as I walked in, there is someone readily asking to assist. Maponya mall... Walked in to no one to assist and 5 min into the store.. one of the ladies came from the back and walked right passed my sister and I while were struggling to find the right nose ring. What must I do now with the pair that I will never use?
