Excellent service received from Branden and Cyndy at Mahindra East Rand, they went out of their way to assist and kept us updated every step of the way. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them.

2nd vehicle that i buy and not the extras you pay for not there. They sell you a spare wheel lock then it is not fitted. After taking it it back they take the car in then disappear on lunch making me wait for more than an hour.

How the hell does a company sell a car to a student and not give them the correct tools to change a tyre?! Absolutely ridiculous! I bought my car a couple of years ago. Two weeks after i got my car the engine seized because they did not put oil in the engine! Waited 6 months for them to repair my car and after i got it back the oil leaked and i had to refill 2/3 times a week. It went back to mahindra East Rand for the second time in one year! No after care was received and this morning when i had to change my tyre i had the wrong wheel spanner in my car! They sent someone to take my wheel off. Did they send me the correct size wheel spanner? NO THEY DID NOT! Now i have to drive all the way there to ask them for the second time to just do their damn job! Absolutely ridiculous honestly mahindra will never see me again i am going to sell my car and buy anything else. I would rather drive a bicycle than drive a mahindra!

They have very good sales staff but that's where it ends. After purchasing my new Karoo Dawn, i was happy at first but quickly realized that its all smoke and mirrors. With 60kms (that's right not even a 100kms) on the clock I had to return the vehicle as the 12v front socket did not work. After the technician did his inspection it was a a small fault (loose wire connection). Within 4 days i got my vehicle (which is not bad). The with 2500kms on the clock I realized that the two headlights look different, and so it was. Initially i thought the LED strip did not work on the one, but once i took the vehicle in they told me that the one headlight is for a S4 and the the other one is for a S11 (which is correct). Almost 3 weeks later , After numerous calls speaking to different people including the foreman they don't have any feedback. I left countless messages and nobody seems to know whats going on. Is is that difficult to order one headlight? With these two issues above it seems the vehicles don't get a final check prior to delivery to the customer. Does the technicians , assembly division know the parts to their own products? Doesn't seem so. If their mentality change Mahindra will do extremely well in SA. Every person i know that drives a Mahindra has been in back to the dealership with some sort of issue, albeit small issues but the biggest disappointment is the after sales services a customer receives.

New building, new look - real nice! But the customer service is almost non-existing (except for the odd person here and there that really shines above and beyond). I took the bakkie for 30k service. The bakkie was booked, Abigail said it needs to be there between 7 and 8 in the morning, which it was but when we arrived there at 15h40 it wasn't ready. Furthermore the job-card said I declined brake-fluid change and that they didn't replace the diesel filter. I showed her that my email said fuel filter and that it's actually the same thing. Luckily they could still do the brake fluid change/flush but that meant we had to wait another hour. If it ended there it still would've been okay. I had to pay on a pro-forma as they had to credit the invoice to add the brake fluid. It's been 3 days, I tried getting hold of her-even sent a mail expressing my dissatisfaction but nothing, no response-nothing!!! The service is ****, there is no other way to describe it.
