AFTER HAVING AN UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCE WITH THE MAJOR TECH SMART GEYSER TIMER DEVICE THAT I RECENTLY PURCHASED, IT GIVES ME GREAT PLEASURE TO COMPLIMENT THE DURBAN MAJOR TECH TEAM AND IN PARTICULAR A WONDERFUL GENTLEMAN CALLED MEEGAN GOVENDER. MEEGAN WENT FAR BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY SINCE MY FIRST INCEPTION WITH HIM, TO THE POINT WHERE HE MANAGED TO "CALM MY WOES" BY CONSTANTLY TOUCHING BASE WITH ME VIA WHATSAPP AND TELEPHONICALLY. THE 'CHERRY ON THE TOP' WAS WHEN MEEGAN ARRRIVED AT MY PREMISES AROUND 16:30PM TO DO AN ASSESMENT ON THE DEVICE WHICH TO MY AMAZEMENT WORK PERFECTLY. MEEGAN WENT AS FAR AS TAKING THE TIME TO INSTALL THIS DEVICE AS WELL AS GIVING US A FULL BRIEFING ON HOW TO USE IT, ETC. WE WERE ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY AND ETERNALLY GRATEFUL FOR HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE, MORE SO THAT THE TIME HAD PASSED WELL ON AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS. "HATS OFF TO YOU MEEGAN" - WELL DONE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Horrible experience with their service and repair for a multifunction tester. The major tech MT390 has been a great companion to me in my testing of electrical installations, after 4 years the meter gave issues for the first time, after contacting their repair center I was told to send it via the origional supplier that I bought it through. Thank god I kept the invoice. 3 weeks after sending it in, I get a call saying "it is uneconomical to repair as we cannot get the parts" they recommend purchasing a new one. R25000. If that is their service, then why buy anything from them.

I bought their CR2450 lithium batteries (2 batteries for R20)for my car remote after buying a cheap imitation (1 battery for R30) from an Indian shop. The moment I inserted them into my remotes...they worked perfectly....

I’ve recently sent my Major Tech multimeter for repairs and calibration due to low AC voltage readings when compared to my Fluke multimeter. The meter was supposedly repaired and calibrated. With the first usage of the meter within two days of its return I experienced the same problem.The meter was returned to Major Tech only to be told that this time it cannot be repaired and that this was damaged by myself however my Fluke meter still works fine having done the same measurement. I had requested a refund of the R1500 paid which was refused.

Hello I HAVE PURCHASED 2 MAJOR TECH VETI ISOLATOR SWITCHES 30A with integral on/off pliot light I am using for the water geysers. Neither of the have a light which illuminates. One them is installed now the other I bench tested on 220V socket outlet.

Guess the way these days we are paying for inconvenience. The thing is I send them an email inquiry for quote. Never got back.... Companies are quick to jump on the band wagon for money but you find yourself paying for inconvenience when it comes to service

We purchased a MT182 monitor over a month ago where we did not receive calibration certificate, we have been requesting this certificate every week since the purchase and have been ignored and originally got sent an excuse, email that there is no lab that can test this machine. Why sell a monitor that stipulated Q.C Passed and then are unable to provide the mandatory calibration certificate. Please can this certificate be forwarded immediately. This item was purchased via the Port Elizabeth branch.
