Claim Issue
Good Day On the 29th of September I called in for an authorization for my daughter to see the DR I couldn't take her on time so I took her the next day,so my claim was rejected because I took her on the 30th of September instead of the 29 so I called in spoke to one of the Administrator called Marisa I even asked her for her surname she said it is not necessary for her to give me because she is the only Marisa working there and I explained what was the problem and I don't understand why is rejected because on our benefits papers the it is stated there about authorization NB should authorization not be obtained the consultation will be for the member’s pocket as authorization can be obtained within 7 days of the consultation.and Marisa told me that it is not her problem that I took my daughter to the doctor next day not the same day i got an authorization and she said the problem is that I am consulting alot and I told yes its true because me and my daughter we are forever sick that's why I took the medical Insurance so it is my problem that I am sick now and than,then she said I can't blame them for my problems. Im really not happy with the whole situation.

My daughter and myself has been with Medicall Healthcare for about 7 years. What a wonderful experience it has been. Very little extra costs besides paying your normal premium. The biggest thing the medical Insurance Company did for my daughter was literally life changing, she was born with Con******* Cataracts in 2016, Medicall Healthcare paid for the operations, examinations, her glasses ect over the last 5 years, removing the cataracts and replacing the lenses, Her eye operations alone was over R300 000 and Medicall Healthcare paid for it all, after authorization was given. The operations was a huge success. I will never move to another company and will with cer*****y recommend Medicall Healthcare, also a big bonus is the GP Visits, there is no cost to be paid afterwards and the visits are unlimited, you just go to a doctor on your Network List. I have so many happy stories over the past 7 years. A BIG shout-out to all the staff from Medicall Healthcare, Africa Assist and the staff behind the scene assisting to sort out claims and accounts, you guys are amazing and doing an amazing job. Thank you Medicall Healthcare for being there for us and for changing my daughter's life, here's to many many more happy years.

My daughter and myself has been with Medicall Healthcare for about 7 years. What a wonderful experience it has been. Very little extra costs besides paying your normal premium. Broke my tooth in lockdown and was in intense pain. Contacted Medicall who identified a dentist on their network who was willing to help. Got my filling and pain relief hassle free and didn't have any bill. Good job thanks Medicall Healthcare

Dear Hello Peter Users I wish to warn the public against Medicall HealthCare, Tel 0860 007 722 with receptionist a certain Adri and Caron, their Compliance Officer. I entered into a verbal agreement with a certain woman, who promised me the medical costs for a hip replacement will be paid. After I paid premiums for 5 months, they refused to pay ANY medical accounts I submitted. When I told them I'm referring their unwillingness to pay, they all of the sudden canceled my policy. Therefore, rather join a reputable Medical Aid Scheme and/or Medical Insurance and stay away from Medicall HealthCare, they will only defraud you and steal your money! Medical bills not being piad!!!
Good morning All I really hope you can assist me. I am a single mum begging medicall Healthcare and its associates( AKA….AFRICA-ASSIST) to pay my sons hospital claims they authorized to pay since April 2019????? All I’ve been getting is long stories….My worry is…should something happen to me or my son ill will not get the assistance from a hospital because of outstanding claims not being paid from a so called Medical aid I have been paying for years and not one of my sons claims has been paid!!!! I also would like to take this opportunity to let people now of Medicall so called Healthcare that should you end up in hospital….the only thing they pay for is the bed you occupy!!!! Not a thing ells….god forbid you have a police with them and something happens to you or your kids!!!!
