Don’t buy from Mellerware , bad bad company ever even cheap brands are better. I bought a kettle November only used for a month then kept quiet. Tried to return receive bad service Mark no longer answer my calls n texts but now I have dead kettle which only worked for a 1 month . Money gone😭

One of the items is not functioning, and the handling of my concern by your team, particularly Katrina Steyn, has been dismissive and lacking the basic courtesy and empathy one would expect from a reputable brand. It is extremely frustrating that a product from a trusted brand fails so soon after purchase, only to be met with the excuse that it is not covered because I did not register it online. Extremely disappointed and utterly disgusted with the product and service of Mellerware and Creative Housewares DO NOT BUY THE STICK BLENDER 1500ML 800W I bought a blender via Takealot, not only did it break after only 1 use but the 2 replacement products were defective too! After making contact and promising a resolution Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd / Mellerware disappeared...Terrible Experience with Takealot & Mellerware Three Defective Blenders I purchased a Mellerware Stick Blender (1500 ml, 800 W) from Takealot at a discounted price of R599 (original retail R1137). What happened: The first blender broke after one use. Two replacement units were also defective. Over three weeks, I spent countless hours returning items, following procedures, and trying to get a proper resolution. Takealot’s response: They refuse to refund the original retail price. They only offered a replacement around the price I paid (R599) plus a R100 goodwill credit. They do not acknowledge the repeated failures or the massive inconvenience caused. My attempt to compromise: I offered to accept a DSP 6-in-1 Stick Blender replacement while keeping the R699 credit, but Takealot’s latest offer was even worse a minimal price waiver of R51, which is insulting considering three defective products and weeks of wasted time. I have escalated this issue to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) for formal investigation. Takeaway for other consumers: Be aware of the risk of defective products and poor support when purchasing Mellerware products via Takealot. Attachments / Evidence: I have photos of the defective blenders and all email correspondence.

I Purchased a Mellerware kettle on Takealot last year the kettle arrived and and worked for only a week, I then sent this kettle back for a swop out, I then got the same model of kettle and used for just over 6 months the kettle then shorted out and burnt a hole in the base, I sent this back and Mellerware and Takealot refuse to honor the guarantee, Mellerware states the kettle was turned on without water in it which is untrue, but they are admitting that their appliances do not have basic safeties built into them to prevent fires, essentially they a selling ticking time bombs that have petonial of injuring people.

I have purchased a Mellerware Cordless glass Transparent Kettle from Pick & Pay in February this year. The kettle just has just stopped working. The light is one but it does no longuer heat up water ( less than 04 months after). Ouhhh, this is quite surprising !!! Fortunately , i have kept the receipt and the boxe so let see if i will be able to get it replaced .

Bought a little expresso machine. Came with a 2 year warranty. Their after sales service was brilliant. When after one year the machine wasn't working perfectly, they repaired it and couriered it back to me. Well worth a commendation for their care and customer service. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I purchased a Mellerware Azure 2200W cordless kettle in February 2024, from President Hyper. I have the warranty card and kettle brochure but lost my slip. The kettle is still like new and already wont switch on, doesn't make connection with the bottom section. This is the worst kettle we have ever owned. I thought Mellerware was a reliable brand. When I contacted Mellerware, they just blatantly refused to help me because I don't have a slip, despite the fact that their name is on the kettle. I will never buy anything form Mellerware again. Their product is terrible quality, and their service is nonexistent, even trying to call their Jhb office, their phones just ring, there are no email addresses available to reach them either, but they do have a fax number... Do yourself a favour and avoid this brand. Terrible!

Bought a Mellerware kettle from Rafi's before they closed down. A month and a half down the line the kettle stopes boiling but the light comes on. I phoned Mellerware (041 364 3249) and got transferred to reception then the call fails and when I called back it goes straight to voicemail. If they do not reply to my email enquiry via their website. I will be taking them to the small claims court as they are in violation of the consumer protection act.
