Petty and poor service.
It was a Friday morning at Kauai on the 6th after getting a school report with my daughter from a nearby primary school. Early morning service has never been bad soon after placing an order for two smoothies from a "***" guy who was operating in the till @ 9:00. Since it was hottest day ever been recorded, I requested drinking water from the tap and the guy promised to bring it right away. Dear my, what a wait. Not only for the water but also the smoothie which my daughter wanted to celebrate her results with. She made a video call to Austria celebrating it with her dad, soon after her aunties here in SA. While waiting and signaling for water on a heatwave morning no one is seemingly caring about "these" customers who came in so early witnessing other customers doing in and out successfully. But us no ways, we still there. Then finally water arrives after 20 minutes later followed by smoothie that we no longer interested in. Yoh I've never experienced such a petty customer service in Menlyn Maine. Disappointing and disgusting untrained young individuals.

MAD DISGUTED AND GOT ROB FROM MY MONEY!!!
I am MAD, DISGUSTED and got ROB from my money booking this place!!!! Black Marble Menlyn Maine!!!!! If you want to book this place.. DONT! I made a reservation thru booking beginning of Jan 2024 for valentine's day. Everything was paid in full and booking was sent to me confirming it. But when I got at the hotel I got my keys. We went up and the room or the placed I book was nothing like the pictures. Holes in the wall, flood damage on the place, kitchen , it smell like mold, was on the wrong side of the building looking over building site and not the city lights and was not what I paid for. We traveld 130 km to get to a place luxury and it was slums!!! I went down stair and asked why I didn't got my room I booked 4 weeks in advance and they placed me on a call with lady. She said their was mixed up with double booking, she didn't have my contact details even if when it's on the booking form, so she gave the other person our room and placed us in a other room. I told her that is a lie, my details is there and no one contacted me. I book way in advance & I traveld far!!! When I asked about the room damamge she just said thats what she has. So after I told her I am not staying there she spoke to reception and they gave Us a new room. This smelled of pee. The floor in bathroom had hair on it. Black long hair. The tows was stained. The toilet doesnt have a cover it's open. Broken ! There in not cutlery to mix coffee with. THE BEDROOM CURTAINS was of there rails. The bedding had black spots on and there are ANTS EVERYWHERE. WE STAYED BECAUES EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FULL BOOKED BECAUSE OF VALETINES. Very disgusted and I paid high price to stay in a normal room. Have a look, every firts photo is what I booked and paid for and evey second photo is what we got! I cant upload more. But it was terrible! Book somewhere else!!! Find your money worth but not here!!!! I cant pist pictures, its flp sad

Convenient shopping
My wife and i decided on a change of scenery and drove out to this well known shopping mall. Overall the mall is kleen and the passages are nice and wide, creating a feeling of relaxed shopping. The variety of shops cater for all choices in life. Also, no matter whether you enter from the east or the west, there are enough quality eateries to satisfy your tastebuds. One pity however, is the fact that complacecy has caused many patrons to walk without face masks - a definate no-no in these times.

Convenient shopping
My wife and i decided on a change of scenery and drove out to this well known shopping mall. Overall the mall is kleen and the passages are nice and wide, creating a feeling of relaxed shopping. The variety of shops cater for all choices in life. Also, no matter whether you enter from the east or the west, there are enough quality eateries to satisfy your tastebuds. One pity however, is the fact that complacecy has caused many patrons to walk without face masks - a definate no-no in these times.

Menlyn Maine's Security team is amazing!
I have to compliment the security staff at Menlyn Maine shopping centre. On Thursday evening I couldn't find my car in the underground parking and when I eventually got out to the open parking, the parking ticket already expired. Along the way three gentleman from the security team helped all the way from directing to where I parked right through to getting my parking ticket sorted after I it expired. I am so greatful that they helped me and the fact that they all did it with a smile on their faces made it even better. I only later realised that I should have taken their names and sent a message to their manager to compliment them on theirgreat work. I do hope someone from the security team sees this.
