Bad service received from the MG Motors Midrand dealership. We bought a car from them, and delivery was done, but their sales rep is running around and does not want to give us the documents. He told us there is a tracker on the car, mean while that's not true. He promised the car registration and the number plate and did not deliver.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting MG Sandton to apply for the brand new MG ZS 1.5 Comfort 2025, and let me just say – WOW. From the moment I walked in, the service was beyond exceptional. I was assisted by Elsie and Christo, and I honestly can't thank them enough. Their professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and genuinely exciting. I’ve tried to apply for a car before at other dealerships, but this experience was on a whole different level. They went above and beyond to accommodate me, explaining everything clearly, answering all my questions, and making sure I felt confident and informed every step of the way. The onboarding process was seamless and friendly — it truly felt like I was being welcomed into the MG family. Driving off in my brand new MG ZS 1.5 Comfort was a dream come true. The car itself is phenomenal, but it’s the experience at MG Sandton that made it even more special. If you're thinking about buying a car — I highly recommend MG Sandton. I bought a secondhand vehicle from MG Sandton for which I paid cash after an agreement was reached with the Dealer Principal. After the money was transferred into their account the Dealer Principal decided to change his mind on what was agreed the previous day and went against his word. He refused to give the normal 6-month Dealership guarantee on the purchased vehicle as per our agreement the previous day which is also a legal requirement on secondhand vehicles. I will never consider doing business with these people again.

I bought a secondhand vehicle from MG Sandton for which I paid cash after an agreement was reached with the Dealer Principal. After the money was transferred into their account the Dealer Principal decided to change his mind on what was agreed the previous day and went against his word. He refused to give the normal 6-month Dealership guarantee on the purchased vehicle as per our agreement the previous day which is also a legal requirement on secondhand vehicles. I will never consider doing business with these people again.

MG SANDTON MG Sandton Michael Pieterse, Dealer Principal. This Dealership sucks and the Dealer Principal proofed himself not to be trustworthy. After all agreements to buy a vehicle were reached and, the total purchase price was paid in full the Dealership Principal surprisingly changed his mind the next day and decided not to give me the six month warrantee as agreed on the previous day and, forced me to either take out an additional warrantee or the deal would be cancelled. Although the price and conditions were discussed and agreed to the previous day he decided to not keep his word. I think he noticed that the vehicle is not mechanically sound and therefor decided to forfeit his commitment and his legal obligations to carry the risk in case of an engine failure for a six months period. The Salesman informed me that there was another person on the Saturday morning who were interested in buying the car which could impacted on the Dealer Principal ‘s decision to change his mind.The Dealer Principal break agreements/contracts as it suits him and bully clients. When we telephonically agreed on the price of the vehicle I traveled from Rustenburg to Sandton to view and test drive the vechicle. I thereafter made the full payment for the vehicle. I lost the vehicle as I could not afford the additional costs for an external warrentee. I further had to carry further losses due to travelling expenses, lost of interest and, banking costs. Although he received bank confirmation that the full payment was made he decided to only pay back my money four days later.

In the process of purchasing my Jeep Wrangler i asked many questions, as you do. The response and I quote was 'excellent condition'. To my disappointment, when the car arrived there was plenty wrong with it. Not limiting to a large deep scratches, dented and cracked bumpers, missing sun visors and spare key. The manager begrudgingly said he would send the visors and would source the spare key if not give R2k in its place. This was almost two weeks ago, he no longer will take my call.
