I am extremely disappointed with the service and workmanship at Mid City Auto Body. I brought my Isuzu MUX in for damages to the roof and side of the car due to a roof falling on top of the car, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. First, the timeline was not respected. I was told it would take 2 weeks days, but it ended up taking 4 weeks with very little communication. More importantly, the quality of the work is unacceptable. When i came in December they had a look and ensured me all work will be done. When i when and collected my car half of the work was not done. After a nother week my car was damage and they told me it is not them i brought the car like that. The also tell you they wil let you know via SMS how far the car repairs are and this never happened. When I pointed this out to the manager, they were quick to brush me off. I expected professional results, but I left with a vehicle that have extra problems and now i have to pay for some els to fix there mistakes. I cannot recommend this shop at ALL.

The back of my car was damaged in an accident. My broker, sent the car to Midcity Auto Body. The car was returned in perfect condition, like new! All work was performed and paintwork was done free from defects. They completed the work of the highest standard and to my total satisfaction.

DARIUS, TOP ASSESSOR THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO MY CASE HELPED ME MORE THAN I EXPECTED. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO INFORM ME OF OTHER ISSUES WHICH HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO SUCH AS RIMS AND BATTERY. THE CLAIM WAS DELAYED (INSURER) BUT I KNOW THAT IF IT WASNT FOR HIM MY CLAIM WOULD NOT BE SETTLED. THANK YOU.

i am very disappointed yesterday i went midcity auto body at 470 madiba street, arcadia who are your authorized auto body repairer. To collect my car which was booked last week for a scretchs on my right door, the kind of treatment i received was horrible to a point that when i left the guy who was assisting me told me to never come back even my friend my never come by the name of sergio. The problem began when i was making my payments, i first made a payment from my fleet card which declined they called absa for authorization it was resolved. Then my nedbank card also declined when i was making the rest of the payment, the lady called standard bank for authorization but paid with a transaction on the phone instate and now could not bank on their system, that's why i had to go through the humanilation. I got there at 14:50 and left at around 17:48. I called nedbank the first they didn't even help. Immediately she called made that transaction it went of my account i received, because they didn't have proof i was now treated like a criminal. I was rudely told that i must that if the payment does not reflect i am not going to get my car and made it as if the fault was on my site. I kept telling them that the fault was with their system, until one of them who was trying to help tried a transaction with the card to discover the problem was with their swiping machine i have never received such bad treatment before, i was never given a change to even check my car before driving off. Being in the financial services industry myself this was not is really bad.

I went to their offices to get a copy of the work carried out on a car I damaged as I’m defending the matter myself. What a RUDE manager refused to give me his name and told me to LISTEN HERE GET OUT!! When I phoned to find out his name he threatened me! I’m reporting the matter to the Insurance ombudsman...

<p>On about 12 May 2017 I went to Midcity Autobody to get a quotation for repairs of my car through my insurance that listed them as a panelbeater that I can take my car to for repairs, I received poor service. There is a gentleman who appears on the midcity wesite on a picture on the service tab, he refused to quote me for repairs for my car. He has bad attidute he said that they charge R600 for a quotation and when I asked why do they charge such an amount he said they return the money should I bring in the car. When I said that I'm not bringing in the car for payment in my personal account but that of my insurance and feel that I cannot pay the fee he then said "its his company, his rules". </p> <p>In my personal view I see this as refusing to service a client who was coming through insurance.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Santam approved Midcity Auto Body for repairing my car that has been in an accident.<br> <br> My car has been there for a month and basically nothing as been repaired.<br> <br> It took them a week to realize that they ordered the wrong parts, they then have to wait another week to order the right parts. Only then to hear that it is on back order. So since my car has been moved to them a month ago we still haven't made any progress and I will not be receiving my car anytime soon.<br> <br> To add onto this, they do not provide any courtesy cars for you to use in the meantime,<br> <br> I'm a surgical representative and drive about 150km between hospitals per day. On a weekly basis I have to take urgent stock to hospitals when the patient is already on the operating table. I can not do this without a car.<br> <br> Midcity Auto Body should be able to provide a courtesy car for the inconvenience.
