Beware of this ************ trap. In good faith you will hand over your cash. But when it turns out that they made a mistake, they will refuse to refund you. In my case it was a botched watch repair. >R2k. Wanted to give me credit in their shop. I declined as there is nothing I even would want for free to be frank. So, one year later I am out of pocket R2k, still with a broken watch and hours of wasted time spent repeatedly picking up a watch that was falsely claimed to be fixed.

I took my wedding ring to be fixed. They worked on the clamps holding the stone. The stone fell out just after I received my ring back from them and was lost. I took it back and was informed that they will fix the clamps, but I need to pay for the stone. The stone was lost after they worked on the clamps and I strongly feel that they must take responsibility to replace the stone.

Leon Mojet calls himself a Christian. My brother used to work for him. On his way walking home from work my brother was ******ed. Up to today almost 10 YEARS later Leon Mojet has not paid my brother's salary for August or the 6 days he worked in September. He never offered one cent to help bury my brother or check up on us to see if we even had food at home. All I know is God is waiting for him the day he dies. To all potential customers I want to urge you not do any business with him just out of moral principles.

I paid for services to repair a cuckoo clock and to set a grandmother clock. The cuckoo clock stopped working after 2 weeks. After 3 voice messages and 2 emails, I eventually went to the shop to request the "repair" to be repaired. No reason was given for not responding to my calls or emails. About a month later the grandmother clock stop working. Again, approximately 6 calls/messages were left and nobody returned my calls. I eventually got hold of the owner around the 8th of Sep and he gave reasons for not responding - something about incompetent staff that have now been fired. He then advised he would call within a week (that would be the 15th of Sep) to arrange an appointment to repair the grandmother clock. Today is the 19th of Sep and still no call from the owner. Perhaps he should fire himself? This is not a business worth supporting AT ALL. I have found far better service from the clockmaker at www.clockmaker.co.za. Pity I have had to pay double for the setting of the grandmother clock. Be warned!!!!!

I would like to share my experience with Mojet Watch Repairs for anyone who is looking at service providers to repair watches or clocks of theirs. I handed in my Stuhrling Winchester on the 17 January 2018. I was told the the repair time would be 6 weeks and that I would be notified when the watch was ready for collection. 15 weeks passed without hearing anything. I went into the store in the week of the 1st May and was told by a gentlemen that he recognised the watch from my repair slip and that I should come back the next week when it will be ready. I then gave it another week and went into the store on the 9th May. This time I was assisted by Leon (who I understand to be the owner) who asked me if I had received confirmation that my watch was ready. I said I had not but that I had handed in my watch as far back as January. Leon came back with a Stuhrling watch from the back of the shop that wasn’t mine. My immediate thought was that they had given my watch to someone else by accident. The responsibility then became mine to go find proof that this wasn’t my watch as the repair slip only indicated that it was a Stuhrling. I sent the proof through same day and received a mail back from Jean-Ley indicating that they had now found my watch. I then asked for a specific day by which I could expect my watch to be fixed as 17 weeks had passed since I first handed it in. Jean-Ley was not willing to specify a date. This confirmed my suspicion that my watch had sat in their workshop for 17 weeks without any work having being done on it. I therefore went to fetch my watch from their store before they proceeded with repairs. Between the time that I indicated that I would be fetching my watch to present date, I have received not communication from Leon indicating his regret at the standard of service that I received. He further at no time attempted to try and rectify what had happened by giving me an undertaking that this would be prioritised and that they would stay in regular contact with me around the repair of my watch. Given that he was aware of what had happened, I found it disappointing that this level of service was acceptable in his business. Regards Philip

I had a engagement ring made with Mojet. I took the ring back for repairs. I was informed of the cost for the repairs. I informed them that i will let them know if they can go forth with the repairs. After a while my fiance/now wife went to collect the damaged ring and was informed that I have picked up the ring. Besides being rude to her and screamong at her that she was a liar. They apparently remeber me I came in to collect the ring with a bike helmet. First of all I do not own a motorbike to have a helmet nor did i collect the ring. To this date after numerous emails and arguing. I still have not received the ring back or an apology for losing the ring. Well losing it or re-using the diamonds for another customer I don't know. But their rude and inconsiderate attitude and repsones is disgraceful. I would never recommend these people to any one.

I Send My Police watch in for repairs/Service now for the second time at Mojet in menlyn and the results just 100 times worst than the first. Originally i had to replace a battery and fix one of the number indicates which came loose... Result.. within the first week the watch started loosing hours per day and soon after all the number indicates inside the watch fell of... OK ill take that to be a 1000-1 change to be a coincidence so once again i took my watch back to them and they refused to take any responsibility for their poor workmanship (REPAIR COSTS ON MYSELF) after the second attempt it just got worst...i eventually instructed them not to continue with and that i will come and collect to send it else ware for repairs so when i got there my watch is smashed to pieces and like before would they also not take any responsibility for their actions... i am now in the process taking the legal route to get this solved.... Mojet's motto should Rather be that you can pay them to cause you damage
