AVOID Moodley Movers: Significant Damage and Unprofessional Service
We entrusted Moodley Movers with our entire household belongings, and upon delivery, we discovered over R50,000 worth of damage. When we contacted the owner, he initially agreed to repair some items. Two of our tables were damaged. After a six-month wait and a personal trip from Mpumalanga to KZN to collect them, the "repairs" were shockingly inadequate. Instead of proper restoration, a misaligned wooden plank was simply attached, leaving the tables in worse condition than before. The owner declared them "better than original," which was insulting. We also have appliances that were meant to be repaired, but given the lack of follow-through on the tables, I have little hope of this happening. Throughout the entire process, the communication and service were unbelievably unprofessional. This wasn't just about broken furniture; it was about feeling completely disregarded and taken advantage of by this company. I strongly advise anyone considering Moodley Movers to steer clear. Save yourself the potential headache and significant financial loss.

Worst service provider I have ever come across
I trusted Moodley movers to move my furniture from JHB to KZN. They were 5 hours late to collect and 2 days late to deliver. Upon delivery a large amount of my items were damaged. They are now refusing to assist and saying that they are not responsible. They have still not returned missing items and say my items are not broken only scratched. DO NOT USE MOODLY MOVERS!!!!! Worst service provider I have ever used!!!!

Worst service provider I have ever come across
I trusted Moodley movers to move my furniture from JHB to KZN. They were 5 hours late to collect and 2 days late to deliver. Upon delivery a large amount of my items were damaged. They are now refusing to assist and saying that they are not responsible. They have still not returned missing items and say my items are not broken only scratched. DO NOT USE MOODLY MOVERS!!!!! Worst service provider I have ever used!!!!

Simply the best!
On short notice I was assisted by Moodley Movers in my move from Richards Bay, to Clencoe, Northern Natal. I can recommend the company to any one who is planning to move, long or short distance. They made the move stress-free and delivered on time. The cleaning service that was provided after I moved out of the flat, fixing up of the interior wall, that had holes left from my TV bracket and touching up with paint, the damage left by some paintings on the wall is also highly recommendable and saved me a lot of time and hassle. Moodley movers really went the extra mile. Thank you very much.

I Relocated from Durban to cape Town. No issues. Prega the owner of Moodley Movers came on the promised date and moved my furniture to Cape Town. Really low rates and delivered on time. I would recommend them. Shared load was the cheapest. Great service. Thank you Prega.

I Relocated from Durban to cape Town. No issues. Prega the owner of Moodley Movers came on the promised date and moved my furniture to Cape Town. Really low rates and delivered on time. I would recommend them. Shared load was the cheapest. Great service. Thank you Prega.

Endless nightmare
On 20 July, Moodley Movers called me last minute to ask me to hire a van to deliver my furniture from my flat to the complex main gate because your 8 ton truck could not enter the complex. You instead got your guys to carry the furniture to the gate which you did not tell me about and later I found this out from complex management. Then only, did you send me a refund You also advised that you only had 2 guys to carry a house full of furniture so I had to pay a third person to help. You only allowed for the furniture to be offloaded once the payment reflected in your account. My 3 furniture items to the value of about R9000 was damaged and also a few glass/ plastic items broken. You simply apologized. My estate agent clearly asked the movers to leave the internet modem and router to be left behind but they delivered it from GP to KZN anyway. You then advised that you would be able to return the modem and router back on Saturday, 24 July, which you did not do and you did not let me know that you could not fulfil your word. I am really angry and disappointed so I had to post this to share my experience which lacked professionalism, communication and service skills.

Poor response to request for quote
I had a wonderful experience with Prega and Moodley movers when I used their service to move from Johannesburg to Durban in 2018. I need to move once again and given my great experience with them previously I wanted to use their services again. I was also very happy to see that they offer storage units as it would be so much easier to use them to move as well as rent a storage unit from them. I contacted Prega on emails, via WhatsApp, a telephone call and an sms and I am still waiting for quotation. I first made contact on Tuesday and today is Friday and I am still waiting. I contacted some other moving companies as I need to move urgently and they responded within 1 hour. I have accepted a quotation from another company and I guess that means that my move in 2018 with Moodley movers was my first and last.

Moodley Movers is Awesome
Awesome Awesome move from Mtunzini to Phalaborwa. Truck arrived on time to load, the guys loaded very fast and professional all care was taken when handling items. Truck arrived on time to offload and it was done in under 2hrs NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR MISSING superb and stunning job. I recommend them to anyone looking to move their house.
