Active since Feb 2021
Good day, as I have heard nothing formally from Avbob, I unfortunately have to ask on this platform. When can I expect my reimbur*****t? AVBOB deducted money for 10 months from my DBE salary ********ly, in what seems to be a ****???? This is now the third time that this **** has started, on my Persal since 2021. What has AVBOB put in place to stop this ******** activity? I'm a teacher and I have heard nothing since I have submitted all the documents and affidavits you require in December 2024. I noticed the policy was stopped in February. Thank you. I have reported this also to my teacher union, to investigate . Hope to hear from your soon.
Dear MTN After phoning 083 135 numerous times, speaking with consultants, requesting to cancel my data contract, you have not met your end of the contract as I am cut off as soon as I ask for confirmation of cancellation and reference number. I will report you now again to the Ombudsman. I do not ever want want to have anything to do with your company. You steal my airtime as it is not a free call for me, and waste my time and MO ey. You should be ashamed of your dishonest antics as a company.
Fraudulent scammers operating under different entities. Impossible to do cancellations. Stay very far way.
I'm very concerned. MTN did not reply to my email about fraud, sent to their fraudline and customer care email address. It's been almost a week.. Question, is it true that you provided Mondo or the Rewards company with my personal details and access to my banking information? That is what they stated in an email to me when I enquired about the Popi Act. Please advise and do not share my personal information as I do not want to enter in a contract with a third party SCAMMER verified by MTN as a registered trade partner.
<div>This business is also the Rewards company but they did not mention it when they coerced me into upgrading my MTN contract and tried to authorize a 20K debit order from my bank. They pretended to be MTN and did not mention that they are a third party company. Their correspondence to me is from the Rewardscompany...They have phoned and emailed as the rewards company but the contract is still not reversed and we are now out of the 10 day cooling period... Now I understand why, because this contract is with Mondo. Rewardscompany just keep on apologising for the delay... I'm under the impression that I'm dealing with the rewards company.. but I was misled... It's also Mondo. Mondo/Rewards company still have not cancelled my MTN upgrade which I'm entitled to do as I was still in the cooling off period, and they did not act truthfully or sent me a contract as promised. As the rewards company they are now claiming its up to MTN but MTN said they can't cancel, it's Mondo/rewardscompany that needs to do it. How do I know it's Mondo? The person who phoned me said I should not go to MTN to cancel as they will tell me to contact Mondo... So many entities? I do not care if they are an approved trade partner of MTN, I did not enter into a contract with this company legally. I was misled.</div>
The Rewardscompany is acting on behalf of MTN, committing fraud pretending to be MTN when phoning clients and coercing them to do upgrades, wherafter there is no email with contracts or details about cooling off period, cancellations or reversals. Rewardscompany tried to get me to accept a new bank debit order for R20 000 when they send a bank notification through FNB app. It's impossible to contact them, they claim they can't assist if you get through. MTN in store say they also can't assist in reversing this upgrade. I'm still well in the cooling off period. MTN please assist and make the Rewardscompany accountable for their dishonest and Fraudelent actions against unsuspecting consumers. They are breaking the law using MTNs brandname. The person in store told me who really phoned me. I find it shocking as MTN is apparently aware of how this company operates. I would like my fraudulent upgrade reversed to the real MTN existing contract. On my FNB debit order list I see they will continue to use the existing debit order bank code. I'm an educator I don't have money to waste on phone calls to this company who is playing games. I wasted enough of my money today trying to contact them.
Fraud - pretending to be from MTN when doing upgrades. I was phoned by a woman claiming to be from MTN. She coerced me into an upgrade. She lied regarding the upgrade details saying it was Mtn black Friday promotion and she would email me the new contract. She stated I have 10 days cooling off period. After accepting the deal which I thought was legit I got a bank notification for me to approve a R20 000 debit order. No email with any details was sent to me. MTN in store told me this company is a third party and they are impossible to get to cancel contracts. I phoned them repeatedly but was cut off once I explained my problem. They said I must contact MTN to reverse or cancel and put the phone down... I reported them to a Consumer watch dog organisation and will contact the ombudsman. If you get a phone call from MTN verified don't answer, ignore. For any upgrades or contracts go in store yourself. What I don't understand is how MTN is allowing this. Also I don't believe the excellent reviews for this company on Hellopeter...
Fraudulent deductions no service yet again. Complained on Hellopeter about money being deducted for a policy I did not authorize. Eventually phoned by a representative of Avobob. The lady send she would email a form for my complaint the next day. One month later, still no form received. Money deducted again. Maybe now R1200 for four months. I lost count. Please take action Avob. R329 PER MONTH. WHO IS GETTING MY HARD EARNED MONEY. WHY DO YOU NOT FOLLOW UP ON YOUR PROMISES.
AL6763419X0 Please stop deducting debit orders from my DBE salary. I have emailed info@avbob now for three or four months, referencing the Fraudelent reference number and my ID number. I have had no reply. This is now the second time fraudulent deductions have been made after being resolved in 2021. Please assist me. I really can't afford these unlawful deductions.
On short notice I was assisted by Moodley Movers in my move from Richards Bay, to Clencoe, Northern Natal. I can recommend the company to any one who is planning to move, long or short distance. They made the move stress-free and delivered on time. The cleaning service that was provided after I moved out of the flat, fixing up of the interior wall, that had holes left from my TV bracket and touching up with paint, the damage left by some paintings on the wall is also highly recommendable and saved me a lot of time and hassle. Moodley movers really went the extra mile. Thank you very much.
