I bought a bottle of honey hoping it was a real honey, to my shock this morning, when I tasted it, its not a real honey but its a golden syrup, but the display is so convincing it even have honey comb, how else can you have fool an unsuspecting customer, I am so disappointed in this product and its maker, I waisted my last money thinking I was buying the right thing. If I wanted a syrup I could've gone straight to the syrup shelf. Mountain honey dos not deserve South African's hard earned monies, when I wanted to call them directly to lodge a complaint, there's no contact details on their bottle, how to reach them, on this day and age, nowhere to get hold of them, I want my money back so I can buy a real real raw honey. There's no email address as well.

Mountain Honey is Fake honey. Beware. Nasty. Tastes like syrup with some acid added. Bought from Bravo in Worcester. How do they not taste and check before selling. In everyone’s defense it’s too cheap to be honey R19,99 for 500g.

I bought a very cheap bottle of "honey" on the shelves of a Chinese shop. I knew it was too good to be true, but attempted to test the product, just to be able to get firsthand knowledge about it. It is not nearly as tasty as honey, and it represents syrup with an artificial flavourant. It's nutritional info lable is also very unclear - almost as if it's done deliberately! If this is the Real company making fake products, I could be very mad, and consider legal action. But surely it might also be a dodgy blackmarket business, faking a product of a well known company. Which ever way. I want to see remedial action being taken on this phiasco. Any feedback would be appreciated.
