I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the treatment my friends and I received during our visit on Saturday afternoon. What was meant to be an enjoyable wine estate-hopping experience turned into an uncomfortable and frankly unacceptable encounter at your establishment. Upon arrival, we requested to be seated and were immediately told that it was “rather noisy inside,” so we should sit outside instead. However, the outdoor seating provided was wet and unusable. The waiter informed the manager, who then made a half-hearted attempt to find us an alternative—only to suggest seating us outside in the rain. What made this even more infuriating was that, upon looking inside, we saw multiple open tables and couches available. When we questioned why we could not be seated there, we were given an excuse that those seats were for “people coming in and out of the establishment" ... So what were we, chopped liver? With all that said, I will never return to Mulderbosch, the distinct taste of ******, as certainly left a bitter taste in my mouth.

We booked a first time wine tasting experience 3 weeks prior at Mulderbosch Wine Estate for the 29th of October 2022, we arrived on time, a waiter only assisted us half an hour later and we explained to the waiter that we made a booking, we were seated at a filthy table & we asked the waiter to please clean the table for us while seated, then the wine arrived for tasting, the gentleman started to present the different wines, i could've had my African Grey do the presentation, then after 2min he left us, we still don't know what he was talking about & we never heard from him again, we ordered 2 pizza's, before the pizza's arrived a waitress came around with dessert which we never ordered, we were about to leave & only then did the pizza's arrive. The quality of the service was appalling & we were so disappointed.

An amazing place to visit. Has a kids playing area, amazing pizza and obviously good wine without breaking the bank. All strategically placed so what you can eat and drink and all keep an eye out on the kids. Well worth a visit

Mulderbosch was one of my favourite restaurants, well managed, good service, food and well priced. Today's visit was really disappointing. Mulderbosch is under new management. The kitchen is running by 2 chefs only. The restaurant was quite busy. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay 2019. Price was R75/ jR220. Not stipulated per glass or bottle. We were waiting more than hour for our pizzas. Pizzas was by far not the quality that we were used to be. Very skimpy on their toppings and the 2cm all around the pizza was dry and without topping or sauce. Final bill was R500 plus tip! Ridiculous and disappointing. Mulderbosch won't see me again and I will make sure that I spread the word. You are ridiculous with your wine prices and not even talk about vslue for money especially in our current situation. We are willing to support our locals, but would like to be treated fair and realistic. Today was a really disappointing experience.
