My Next Car
Based on recent customer reviews, My Next Car is drawing significant criticism from Bolt drivers who rent vehicles through their fleet. Customers consistently mention disputes over outstanding balances, suspended app access, and unrecorded cash-out payments. A recurring theme is dissatisfaction with the collections department, described as rude and dismissive of evidence provided. Drivers also raise concerns about weekly rental costs, excess kilometre charges, and lack of support during breakdowns or accidents. While sales staff are occasionally noted as friendly at onboarding, post-sale service experiences are described as deeply disappointing.

Uncaring Collections staff members who do not consider facts at hand but enforce their decision regardless. Unfair and unnecessary suspension of your fleet account access to Bolt even if it is clear on their system and statements that you do not owe them. Baseless accusations by them even if faced with the facts, disregard them nevertheless. Staff members who are not open to new or unusual information. A very rude guy who goes as far as saying you can not go out of this(disregarding facts) and that you can go to court.

They don’t reply to breakdowns for their drivers. Yesterday I had a breakdown with a customer on board during the bolt trip at 2pm reported the matter at their fleet assist and from 2pm till midnight 9pm no response from them, I had to pay for the tow truck at my expense and still in the morning I call they waiting for God know what, they leave you stranded overnight and still don’t reply the following day. They don’t care about their driver safety or their cars. They don’t reply to emails or calls. Even when I reported an accident I was left unattended and their cars are not safe

My husband is renting this bolt branded car from this company, the money that you make every week goes into their account not your account it means when people bolt and make card payment you get nothing from that money they also charge you for each km you drive, they said you get something for advertising bolt but its actually not true, my husband knocks of at 11:00 pm most of the time, you only get money if someone pays cash and when you take that R100 its your salary for the whole month and they say if you do 125 trips they will only take R1000 it not easy to reach that amount of trips per week another thing you have to pay them R2700 0r R2900 per week. Meaning when you rent from them you dont have life, you dont rest at all. They only care about money

MNC's staff doesn't care about their drivers, only sales are responsive. I returned the car on the 3rd of January 2026 due to early cash-outs not being recorded, and requested to be deregistered from the fleet. Nothing was mentioned about early cashouts because they gave me the car without conducting training. I requested to be deregistered then I was told to pay the outstanding balance for MNC to remove my name from their system. I paid the outstanding amount, and sent proof of payments. All MNC did was to reactivate the account to receiving trips and yet the car was registered to another MNC driver, (meaning my bolt app is active, and I can recieve trips though the car is with with another driver). And still haven't deregistered me from their fleet. When I call and ask, they keep saying "the collections department is still trying to track your cashout payments", even though I gave them proof of payments for those cashouts 2 weeks ago. Poor service.
