Most pathetic dealership in SA. Bought a new double cab vehicle from this dealership just to find that the acessories fitted was done substandard. The bakkie started acting up within the first 700kms, the first response I got from them was it's not my problem. Its been almost two months now and I don't have my vehicle as it was suppossed to be replaced after intervention from the CEO of the manufaturing company! The replacement was yet again messed up by New Vaal's unprofessional fittment team. This company have no comitment to what they are selling or customer care, they don't even know the specs on what they are selling.

Good morning Earlier this year on the 12 March 2025 I took my car to Mercedes Benz New Vaal Motors Vereeniging for a service. They serviced the car but after a few months the car showed engine light on the dashboard. I then took it back to the same dealership to have it repaired, But they said it was due for another service. They serviced the car again on the 02 October 2025 but after a few days the engine light re appeared and the car was losing power. I took it back to Mercedes Benz New Vaal Motors Vereeniging, but I was told that they cannot say exactly what's wrong because according to their diagnostic machine it's not showing anything.

Can anyone, somebody please advise what further action do I need to take? It's 6 months now since my car has been with them for repairs tot nou. The insurance has paid them, but they keep making lame excuses. I need urgent assistance

It is with a very heavy heart that I decided to take this further step against New Vaal Motors Vereeniging. I must say this these people take their clients for nothing! They don't give a damn, they don't take their work serious shame they must just close down that Supermarket of a Dealership because WOW they have dismally failed when it comes to Customer Satisfaction. They are useless and inconsiderate! I had taken in my car to fixing that was like a month ago, as am writing this am still without a car (5 weeks full now). These people you can't get hold of them on phone, whenever they call they give you same lame excuse. I was dealing with a guy named Andile Xaba, I don't know whether it's called Capitalizing or what, they have submitted 2 quotes of different amounts to my Insurance after so long failing to provide my insurance with necessary documentation at a time. Yesterday this Andile guy calls me to tell that my insurance is authorizing only half of the quotation and I must advise if either myself or the husband we will be paying the remaining balance, my response to him was any reason for Insurance not paying the full amount? He couldn't answer that, instead I picked these people still hasn't started on fixing the car they claim to have been awaiting on my insurance (5 WEEKS, mind that). I then contacted my insurance to hear their side, it is explained that New Vaal gave them 1st quotation amounting to R61 263.03 they later on giving another of R87 057.20 now over looking the 1st quote... how the hell did they get here I don't know!. What I see is they went on claiming/adding unnecessary costs and wanting to fix other things that weren't broken. Long story story short, I want my car back fixed as soon as yesterday. I can't take this **** from them anymore, and this is why am writing this review here! I want the whole world to see and not make a mistake of taking their cars to them. They are stout maan!

Phoned to get a quote for a minor service but they seem like the only place that can't give you a price. Surely they should know what a minor service on a specific vehicle will cost because any additional repairs is always an add on. Took my car there for the 6 years it was under a maintenance plan then it was all honky dory. They obviously don't care about existing customers... Lucky with the new law we won't be forced any more to make use of the specific car's garages!

It is with the deepest regret and disappointment that I have reached a stage where this has to be done. To say I am disappointed and hurt, would be a great understatement. I took my car to Mercedes- Benz (New Vaal in Vereeniging ) on the 23rd March 2022 for a replacement of the transmission plate. When I got there Mauro Pozzan. who was then a service advisor assured me they have the relevant part, all they are going to do is replace it. I thereafter went to New Vaal every week to check on the progress of my vehicle, which to my disappointment was still not complete, even though it was beyond the agreed time frame I was given. Every week I received the same reason which was that my vehicle has been stripped and booked". Mauro Pozzan later resigned and my advisor is now Ruan Erasmus, i am still getting the same story that my car is booked week after week. As a customer I have done what was expected from me and paid what I had to, which amounted to R 52 000. As I am writing this email, the mentioned amount has been paid in full. 9 June 2022, Today marks 3 months and a couple of days with no car, no communication, no effort (on the part of Mercedes-Benz) , and very poor communication (from the Mercedes-Benz team at New Vaal in Vereeniging). This is by far the most unprofessional service I have ever received in my entire life.
