Absolutely PATHETIC customer service. Accept zero responsibility for products they provide and sell-Storie****cuses and hungry to take customers money. Stay away from Nissan full stop. Don't buy Nissan .....time to switch to honest reliable companies like GWM

Horrible experience December 2024: I first reported a malfunction with the car’s braking system to CMH Durban Pixley, which resulted in the car moving on its own and colliding with a community tap. The cause was identified as a faulty handbrake system. Although the car was taken to the Nissan Umhlanga service center in January 2025 for adjustment, the issue has persisted. January 2025: In addition to the handbrake issue, I informed CMH Durban Pixley about noises coming from the wheels. The branch manager confirmed that the problem was related to the clutch, and he advised that it was a valid claim. However, after this acknowledgment, I received no follow-up or resolution from the service center. Current Issue (August 2025): More recently, the vehicle has begun to jam and fail to start, with two incidents occurring just this week. This adds to the growing list of unresolved issues, making the car unsafe to drive and causing significant personal inconvenience. I’m ready to sue you!!!!!

Cmh nissan durban south beach are ****** I purchased a vehicle ford figo this year 27 January 2024 . When I get there they made me to sign before I inspected the car, so when we inspecting the car the engine light was on and I told them about it and the fog lights were not working. So they told me that they going to fix the engine light because it's to go for service on Monday the 29 , I sent the car to them but still the light is on. They said they gonna send the car at ford the following week on Tuesday 06 they took the car for the whole week till Friday they phoned me to come and fetch it on Saturday. I sent the driver to fetch it on Saturday on his way back the lights came back again I told them about it only to find ukuth they didn't send the car to fixed at ford. The following week they took it again then I asked the whose going to pay installment at the end of the month, they didn't give me straight answer. I asked them to give me another car because I'm no longer interested to this one ,the manager refused and said it's not possible. I phoned the bank, then the bank said they must give me another one or cancel the deal if I'm no longer interested.i went back to still they refused so I payed R2500 for cancelation fee because the car is at their garage. But now I'm facing the problem of waiting for them to clear my name because they didn't send a letter to the bank but I sent them a proof of cancelation.

I bought a vehicle from them in December, on the day of delivery of the vehicle as I am in Johannesburg on the 29 Dec 2023 , defects (steering shudder, oil leak and a grinding sound on the wheel) were immediately noticed and discussed with the dealership and a cancelation of the deal was requested. I dealt with Zakir Rahiman who was never reachable and was never of any effective assistance. It was only when I escalated this matter to the dealer principal Vernon and Desigan that zakir had contacted me with some sort of direction with 2 choices being repairs or a trade in with them. Considering that there would obviously be a shortfall as the trade value and the settlement value were approximately R100 000 difference and the fact that when viewing cmh website there was nothing available that would match the current vehicle being a haval H2 automatic , hence I would suffer a loss on a defective vehicle sold to me. I took the repair option and negotiated a 6 month warranty instead of 3 months which was agreed upon. The vehicle was at the repairing branch in jhb for 21 working days, on collection it was evident that the full repairs agreed upon was not done and when questioned I was advised authorisation was not received from Zakir to repair the rest. From the diagnostic report stating 1.Tuppet gasket oil leak , 2. Timing to be reset and 3. Steering column to be replaced... the repairs carried out was only on the oil leak and the timing with a minor service , these incomplete repairs were not successful. The Oil leak was progressively worse and the steering shudder gets worse by the day. This was yet again communicated to Zakir and he assured me that a second repair will be done at a different cmh branch. However considering that communication has always been a delay during this period the car has now reached limp mode and sounds like a truck and is non mobile. This was yet again communicated immediately with Zakir and to date there is no effective communication. " I will revert back accordingly" is the famous response. Bare in mind delivery of the vehicle to jhb was on the 29 DEC 2023 - to date 22 FEB 2024. It has been less than 2 months dealing with the above with cmh dealership. Notes to be considered I received the vehicle on the 29th Dec 2023 - first unsuccessful repair booking was the 11 Jan 2024 and lasted for 22 days. To date being 22 Feb 2024 , there has been no effective assistance, no improvement on the vehicle. Infact it is now worse than it was as mentioned it is standing still and cannot be used.

This has to be the worst delearship in SA. Bought a bakkie NP200 with them last year and the salesman tricked me into believing that it had an extended maintenance plan and that I shouldn’t worry it will be transferred to my name soon as i get the vehicle only to find later that the plan was actually with an external company and they had never been any transfer done to my name. I called the external company and they sent me a form that simple requires a dealership stamp and consent from previous owner, whom Nissan claimed to have no knowledge of. I then requested an affidavit accompanying the stamped form and to this day have yet to receive any feedback. Whenever i call no one knows what’s happening.

Spoke to a very rude service consultant when I was booking my car. When i asked about transportation to drop me off at work, he rudely instructed me to make a plan and Uber myself because all Nissan dealerships are no longer transporting their customers due to Covid. I'm new in Durban, a black female and I do not feel safe using Uber, he didn't even afford me an opportunity to share this with him. I know it's nothing but a racist move because I have 2 cars and I was told this by the other brand I drive, but when I investigated the case I picked up that black customers are the ones who go through these hoops whereas other races are accommodated. I'm let down by the level of service.
