I've been harassed by phone calls from MBD since August, stating that I'm owing a Vodacom account that I know nothing about. Today when I was checking my credit profile on clear score, this "so called account" is added on my profile and it says I opened an account in April this year. I never had an account with Vodacom or used a Vodacom network in my life. Please assist because this is good to ruin my credit profile.

Welcome to Gboard clipboard, any text that you copy will be saved here.I purchased a Nokia C1 phone on 25/1/23 from Checkers,Sun Valley. I had only minor problems initially but later when I started using apps I realised the problems I was starting to have with the phone. I was losing files so started examining the O/s to find out what was happening. If I downloaded a file I could not move it around until a couple of hours later. There always seems to be a response delay when using the touch screen, which results in having to find your way back to the that you were on.The O/s problems are small in comparison to the RAM problems. The phone is advertised as having 16 Gog ram (internal memory) of which a about 10 gig is used with preinstalled apps.No problem -thought I could just uninstall some-problem,they cannot be uninstalled and if they could be the would not work properly. So this now leaves about 6 gig but of that at least 3 gig is needed to operate the phone,so that leaves about 3 gig for apps! Nokia's(HMD) answer to that is that all your files must be moved to external memory to free up operating memory. I then looked up the device information regarding internal and external memory, where it informed me that I could use an SD card as internal memory. Not True.I tried purchasing different types of SD card but it made no difference (and I was at Checkers when I did this after speaking to their phone staff). It made no difference and could not be done.It seems that it was possible to do this on previous phones but was no longer possible on this phone.STRANGE!I have copied the relevant section of the information on the phone. The next problem is that I thought I would buy a Nokia instead of a Samsung -as Samsung would not support Linux and felt that this was morally wrong. Many people in Africa cannot afford Windows. So I buy a ?Nokia?.It turns out that Nokia no longer make phones but are now involved in the internet business now. What I have bought is a phone made in China which is now being sold/dumped? on the South African amongst others and this is being done by a company calling itself HMD and appears to be resident in Johannesburg.I have not checked out to find out who are the owners but would probably find another maze. So instead of a Nokia quality phone I now own little more than a piece of junk.I have a 16 year old Samsung which is far superior in just about every way but am prevented from updating it mainly because Samsung will not support Linux. I was told by a Nokia expert online that I should buy another phone as this was a cheap phone.R1000 rand to me is not cheap as I am living on a government pension.A cheap phone to me is R200-400. To be able to use the phone and it's functions I have to uninstall apps, check if there is enough memory if not I have to through the apps and delete storage memory then check to see if the memory percentage is good enough to be able to run the phone. Most of the time I am using the external memory to operate the app or function that I am using . I went to the consumer protector(western Cape) on about 10/09/24 to get help.I completed their form after about a month of problems trying to fill in the form and then trying to do it online also. A out a month ago I received an email from a Mr A Nokomo who informed me that they would no longer persue the matter and it was being dropped-I informed him I was not dropping it and it was only the beginning.Their behaviour seems to endorse the fact that they are not representing the consumer but big money friends?

I have encountered very bad service from vodacom sa finance division. They have deducted R1336, 73 cents from my bank account although I had paid in store since they were no longer deducting from my bank. Was to told to send an email to finance division, which I did several times but no respond to this day.

No matter how many reviews I write Vodacom has no Interest in solving or sorting the problem they themselves created. They put a hold on my prepaid number not allowing g it to ported out. I have had many phone calls saying it is sorted when it wasn't, then they are working on it, now there IT Department is supposed to working on it. Yesterday I received 8 messages with the same reference number to say they will try and sort it out. I am just wondering during if your IT Department cannot sort out such a simple problem that you yourself put on my number what next. You really have no Intention of lifting this port out hold on my number do you????? IT IS *******. YOU CANNOT STOP ME FROM CHOOSI G MY OWN NETWORK PROVIDER WHAT YOU ARE FOING IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOCKING.

I was ****med by a Vodacom Rewards team member on 31 Oct 23, after telling him that I dont want any upgrade from him, he still went on and did an upgrade without my consent. I immediatly called vodacom to cancel the upgrade. I was told that it will be escalated and cancelled in 24-72 hours. Since then I weent to a store and called twice more to get it cancelled. Every consultant telling me it will take 24-72 hours. As to today it is still not cancelled. How can I be ****med by vodacom in 5 mins but it take weeks of begging to get it sorted out
