Absolutely Awesome Fantastic customer service and then there is that yummy food toooo. Delish German braai and all the German dishes too difficult for me to spell. And the yummiest desserts R WOW!!!!! Plus all the delicious sausages

This is one of the best Butcheries/deli's on the West Rand. The owners are always there, interacting with the customers and working with the well trained staff. The frozen meals, soups, hand made pies and veggies are handy for the nights when you don't feel like cooking. The meat hampers are excellent value for money and the meat is neatly cut and packed. The eisbein and sauer kraut is to die for. Norbert's come highly recommended.

This is one of the best Butcheries/deli's on the West Rand. The owners are always there, interacting with the customers and working with the well trained staff. The frozen meals, soups, hand made pies and veggies are handy for the nights when you don't feel like cooking. The meat hampers are excellent value for money and the meat is neatly cut and packed. The eisbein and sauer kraut is to die for. Norbert's come highly recommended.

Firstly when I ask the staff member today for Ribeye steak, he had no clue what it was. Had to wait 10 min for another staff member to come back from lunch. He also had no clue and wanted to sell me a Porterhouse steak as Ribeye. When I told him it was not the same thing then I got attitude of note…… I made peace with it that I would not get any Ribeye. It’s just amazes me that the staff don’t know the difference even though the different cuts are clearly advertised on the board with individual prices. I have been a customer for a long time, but after today…. Never again. Makes me wonder how many people gets charged for expensive cuts of meat while they are getting something else.

My wife (German lady) and I are regular patrons for the last 6 years, we have already completed several Loyalty cards and, always promote and take friend to experience this little jewel we discovered, some of them German speaking making it a treat for them, until 2 months ago the service was excellent, unfortunately the last 3 visits was not that pleasant and not the service I’m used to. 1 Ordered take away, and gave explicit instruction not to put spice on the chips, low and behold they did not comply to my request after I made sure they understood my order. I did not have time to wait another 10 minutes to fix the order. 2 Ordered Pork neck on a roll with side plate of Chips and Curry sauce, what I got was a small piece of pork neck maybe 20 or less chips and curry sauce, my meal was half of what my wife ordered and for a grown man it would be considered a starter, that was also after waiting long for the order, when I complained I was asked quietly by the waiter to let her fix it and I do not complain to Norbert because he will shout and scream at her, we could not wait for them to fix the order as it took over 30 minutes already for 1st order, they also attached an additional price tag for the pork neck and I was almost charged for two portions of pork neck instead of the small piece received. 3 Ordered 12 pieces of pork neck, when I got home only 11 pieces was packed leaving one of my guest short of their portion of meat putting me in a position where I had to offer my meat to them. I really hope they get their act together because it’s such a nice place to go to on a Saturday or Sunday for a nice German breakfast

I am a regular customer who always order Chicken & avo bruschetta from Norberts but lately (after them raising the price) their presentation has not been pleasant , I always go there or tell them about my favourite meal . I Understand the increasing of the price but I do not understand the sudden ugly , untidy looking food they send or sell.<br> <br> I think it should go back to the price it was before because it looked much better then , My Colleague ordered before me then an hour later I ordered but they looked totally different and with bread even a rat wouldn't enjoy , it was hard and not the usual bread they use. I took this to Hello Peter because it has been a while and I really tried helping them but it looks like they don't care .<br> <br> Maybe this will make them catch a wake up and every order must be the same ingredients ,quality and quantity .
