Avoid at any cost
DO NOT USE Nova Direct for European Recovery! It is a ****. Our car broke down on a French motorway (one tire puncture). They never answered the phone and they refused to reimburse the cost of French Motorway recovery. We called the "Emergency" number on their policy document, no answer after 1 hour and 10 min in 35 degrees heat with my pregnant wife and 2 kids by the motorway. The next day, after sorting out recovery and changing the tyres ourselves, Direct Nova refused to reimburse the £220 cost of recovery. They say it's because we didn't notify them of travel dates... DESPITE BOOKING SPECIFIC DAYS ON THE POLICY 10 days before the breakdown.

Experience while working there at first seemed fun, but noticing the faults after my 6th month there was horrifying. They work their workers on nightshift and dayshift, dayshift is allowed to take breaks however nightshift is under stricter terms, 12 hour shifts and not allowed to fall asleep for even 5 minutes before you get a warning. Have to be at your desk the entirety of those 12 hours and only allowed the bathroom once an hour. How fun! Majority people who requested leave have trouble ever getting leave, company finds every way to avoid it even if you apply for it on time, but will not pay out your leave the next year if you are refused for taking your 15 days allowed leave, they are also late to approve leave and often lose your leave form, forget your dates and as well as forget to completely give you a leave form. The confirmation of your leave through email is never enough. They are unorganized and over work their workers. Having to work there is worse than walking on egg shells, not only do you have a high school full of colleagues who try every way to undermine you, but you also have to look over your shoulder being worried that any small mistake you do will cost you your job. It is a stressful environment where nobody takes you seriously, no one works as a team and everybody seems to be against everybody. Definitely not a kind environment to live in. Not only that you have to listen to clients every day complaining about their policy and brush it off even when you know they need your utmost help. Worse workplace environment, I will never again go back there.

Ripp off
Avoid cheap policy but a rip-off. Waiting time up to 4 hrs, when complained they charged me £100 and sent it straight to debt collectors. Really nasty company. AVOID unless you don't mind being ripped off. Their policy's wording is confusing. If you are in an emergency forget it, pay a bit more, and get a decent policy The complaint process is flawed, and does not follow good practice, instead, they pass it to debt collectors.

AMAZING SERVICE OVERALL!!!
I've been with the same insurance company for years but due to a recent incident my premiums have increased which resulted in myself looking elsewhere for insurance and that's when I came across Nova Direct who assisted me with the whole process of obtaining insurance.
