AVOID NOVI CAPE TOWN
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM NOVI CAPE TOWN AS POSSIBLE. THEIR PRODUCTS ARE OF VERY INFERIOR CHINESE QUALITY. YOU CAN'T RETURN PRODUCTS WITHOUT PAYING EXCESSIVE SHIPPING FEES TO CHINA!!! ABSOLUTELY MISLEADING, BECAUSE THEY DISPLAY END OF 50% SALE ALL YEAR THROUGH!!!

Beware of Novi Cape Town – Misleading Ads and Terrible Service I ordered three handbags from Novi in early September 24, enticed by their Facebook ad that made them look like a genuine Cape Town company creating handmade leather bags. I browsed the website in detail, believing I was supporting a local, quality business. I decided to invest a bit more because I wanted authentic leather bags – but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It turned out the it was a front for Temu, which were not the high-quality, local products I had expected. The smelt strange and were extremely low quality / budget bags not at all aligned with their price tag. When I tried to request a refund, I was met with AI-generated responses, and despite Novi's advertised "14-day money-back guarantee," I was given no return address or actual support. This blatant disregard for consumer rights goes against their own terms and conditions on their website as well as South Africa's Consumer Protection Act. I still see Novi's ads on Facebook, which makes it even more frustrating to see others fall into the same trap. I lost R3,000 to a Temu ****. Save yourself the hassle – do NOT order from Novi Cape Town. It’s a waste of time and money, and the misleading advertising is deeply *********.

Spent a lot of money on this company, they send sweet e-mails promising that they have sent the money back, *****sters of note! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM and there is no ways we can report their website, they just keep de*****ing everyone. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - you will only notice this after the funds have been cleared and you cannot contest it with your bank. And they keep changing their e-mail address.

This business is a ****! They pretend to have a closing down sale, all looks well until you place an order and weeks go by with no delivery and no answers to your enquiries! Please do yourself a favor and NEVER purchase from this store.

False advertising
I kept seeing an advert for a closing down sale for leather handbags, an elderly couple closing down their business. "we are heartbroken to be closing our doors" This is *****, they are based in Asia. I treated myself to what I thought was a beautiful hand crafted leather bag. It took weeks to arrive and I started getting suspicious - only looking at the negative reviews after I'd paid. The bag is not leather, it is plastic and looks nothing like the bag in the photographs. After asking to return it they said I would have to pay for the courier to Asia and fill in a form and send back in the original packaging all within 2 weeks. I'm feeling it is highly unlikely that I will get a refund and I think they bank on you not going to all the trouble

Total waste of money waited weeks for delivery item was cheap Chinese import size was way too small when I sent email requesting a refund i have not heard from them despite few emails sent, stay away from them.

14 WEEKS AND NOT ITEMS RECEIVED!!
Making a purchase with them was the worst decision ever. I purchase a jacket on 23 June 2024, payment was made, we are now on 3 October 2024 and still have not received the item. I also will not expect my money back, so this is a total loss. I will never ever purchase from them and will not advise anyone to make future purchases from them. Wynand

Making a purchase with them was the worst decision ever. I purchase a jacket on 23 June 2024, payment was made, we are now on 3 October 2024 and still have not received the item. I also will not expect my money back, so this is a total loss. I will never ever purchase from them and will not advise anyone to make future purchases from them. Wynand

Boycott this company! Cheap products and NO customer service! I ordered a leather handbag - got a plastic one! You cannot return but have to order another product. Received a cheap top - too small although it is stated as One Size Fits All. Made of very inferior material for R1095!! You will only loose your money! They should be closed down!!
