The Orkney Small Claims Court ruled in my favour against a service provider/defendent who was supposed to pay me back the R25,000 for services never delivered. Claims Court referred me to the Balju Sheriff in Orkney town, North West. I paid for their services, which I was told they will go to the defendent's place and get whatever possessions he has so that I get paid back my money. Later was told by the Balju Sheriff the defendent claimed never to own anything. I mentioned that my *****ster owns cars which could be sold and I get paid. Instead of finding more from my information, the Sheriff's clerks shouted at me and said because of POPIA they cannot do anything more. The argument ensued when I asked questions, and whether the matter ended just like that? It was like I had no right to ask them or say anything about the *****ster. They started shouting at me; how rude I was to question how they operate. This was not only shocking for me, for a service provider supposed to help people to be on the side of the those in the wrong, with no regard at all to help the victim. I was and still am disgusted by lack of professionalism in the Orkney, Balju Sheriff Office. I hope with this review, the Orkney Magisterium Area or whoever contracts them to provide sheriff's services will care to evaluate their work. The clerks in that office are not helpful, they are RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE to clients who need their services. Seemingly, they forget that their services are paid for and not for free. Something must be done about that office. Regards, Dineo

I have been experiencing connectivity problems for some time now and have reported this. I was give a case number 6670. I was told that they would get back to me on 2 occasions but have not received any feedback and the issue is not sorted out. I spoke to a person called Ryan today (the 3rd time I talked with him) and he informed me that this will take time to sort out. I am totally dependent on their service for business and personal use. With a connection that keeps on dropping this is not possible. The service that I receive on my complaint is totally shocking. Just note that the name of the company is now Zoom networks based in Sandton.

<p>During April 2016 we contracted with Office Talk ********** to move our PABX and install it in new premises. At no time did we receive any recommendations relating to the installation and as far as we were aware it necessitated the moving of the PABX and the transferring of Telkom lines. It now transpires that we have been sold a porting contract which means that they subsribe to a Telkom Line and it is ported to our premises via an ADSL line. This in itself is not unsatisfactory however the manner in which it has been handled is entirely unsatisfactory.</p> <p>At the time of the transfer we were asked to sign a contract which we did and this required a signed debit order which was correctly completed. It has since transpired that Office Talk issued the wrong debit order which was rejected by the bank because the banking details were not for this company. Despite this having being verified and established they refuse to reverse charges they have levied for the debit order being rejected.</p> <p>We have also found that they have failed to cancel Telkom lines which they undertook to do and despite having written on three occasions to the Managing Diurector Mr Greg Rood, we have not had the courtesy of a reply.</p> <p> </p> <p>I cannot believe that any organisation can be so arogant as to ignore a simple request for information and refuse to reverse charges that they have wrongly debited.</p>

<p>I live in a retirement village with several hundred users. Their systems are continually down. They ignore warnings that we will seek an alternative provider. We are unable to access itemised billing details - is this due to the fact that they dont't want users to see that they are overcharging? E-mails and telephone calls are ignored.</p>

I am absolutely shocked by the poor attitude and unethical behavior of the MD and owner of Office Talk. I have been quoted rates on VOiP services and signed up with them based on the good rates they offered.<br> <br> After months of poor service delivery and problems on our lines, it came to me attention that I was charged for 8 VOiP channels but only had 4 available channels. I assumed this was an honest mistake and they reversed the amounts that was overcharged.<br> <br> I then decided to recalculate the call rates to compared it to the rates which they quoted me on before I signed up with them. I was shocked to find that they charged me more than double what they were supposed to!<br> <br> When I took this up with the MD, Gregory Rood, he firstly took weeks to get back to me with any response and then finally was extremely rude and informed me that he will not amend the rates and basically said he does not care and I can take my business elsewhere.<br> <br> I am absolutely shocked at how unethical Office Talk is and, when confronted, the owner becomes rude and defensive. He has the worst attitude and shocking ethics. This is an experience I never want to go through again.

After trying , in vain many times to reach Greg the MD to reverse an over payment made to them in error in March. To date, they have failed to reimburse the over payment. This month, they deducted the amount for calls and services from the credit on the account and furthermore deducted the amount via an unauthorized debit order.<br> When I called to resolve the situation, despite the fact that I have been trying to sort this out since March, I had the phone put down on me by Ashlin who is their FINANCIAL CONTROLLER and was told that \it's not her fault."<br> Clearly she needs to be reminded that without the customer she has no job.<br> DISGUSTING"""
