OnTheMove Logistics – Failure to Deliver Service or Refund Service period: January–March 2026 Customer: David (Magoebaskloof, Limpopo) Service requested: Collection of furniture in Bapsfontein and delivery to Magoebaskloof Summary of My Experience I am posting this to warn other consumers about my experience with OnTheMove Logistics, who failed to provide the service I paid for and have still not refunded me despite repeated requests. Timeline of Events 16 January 2026 – Deposit Paid I contacted OnTheMove Logistics in early January for a quotation to collect a furniture item in Bapsfontein and deliver it to Magoebaskloof. They quoted R1 300 (VAT included) for a shared load scheduled for 23 January 2026, including insurance, labour, and delivery tracking. I was told I needed to pay a 50% deposit before they would visit the premises to view the item. I paid the deposit on 16 January. Request for Full Payment Before Any Service Despite no visit or collection taking place, I was contacted via WhatsApp and asked to pay the remaining 50%. This was contrary to their own written terms, which stated the balance was due after packing and before departure. Trusting their assurances, I paid the full amount on 16 January. 23–26 January – No Visit, No Collection The scheduled shared‑load date of 23 January came and went with no visit, no collection, and no proactive communication.By 26 January, they still had not visited the premises as promised. 7 February – Still No Service Delivered By 7 February, more than three weeks after full payment, there had still been no visit, no collection, and no service of any kind. I eventually had to collect the item myself while returning from KZN, at my own cost. Refund Attempts Ignored 8 February – Written Refund Requested I submitted their refund request form on 8 February. Follow‑up Attempts I followed up repeatedly via WhatsApp on: 22 February 3 March 6 March 11 March As of 14 March 2026, no refund has been paid and no satisfactory explanation has been provided. Impact I paid 100% upfront for a service that was never delivered. I incurred additional costs to collect the item myself. I have spent 5 weeks trying to recover my money. Communication has been inconsistent and unprofessional. My Request I am requesting: - A full refund of all amounts paid, since no service was rendered. - An explanation for the failure to honour the agreed service date. - Improved transparency for future customers regarding payment terms and service reliability. Until this matter is resolved, I cannot recommend OnTheMove Logistics to anyone.

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNRELIABLE MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. If you value your time, your belongings, or your sanity — DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. What we went through is unacceptable for any business claiming to offer a professional service. We booked a move from Johannesburg to Ballito and were PROMISED delivery on Saturday, 29 November. The moment they collected our belongings, everything fell apart — the lies, excuses, and complete lack of accountability began immediately. Because they failed to deliver, we slept on the floor for FIVE nights. My mother travelled down to help us move, and I refused to let her sleep on the floor, so we had no choice but to pay for last-minute accommodation — extra money directly caused by the company’s incompetence. When we asked for a refund or compensation for the accommodation, they said they would “redirect us to the sales department” to see if we could “cut a deal.” Cut a deal? No. They should have simply taken responsibility for their failure. THE MAIN SOURCE OF OUR PROBLEMS Most of the chaos, stress, confusion, and delays came specifically from the delivery manager lady. She was: • The rudest person we dealt with • The one who stopped answering messages for hours • The one who ignored direct questions • The one who repeatedly gave irrelevant answers to things we did NOT ask • The one who caused multiple miscommunications with the drivers • The one who refused to give real updates or accurate ETAs Her behaviour alone escalated the situation from frustrating to unbearable. It became clear that she was the reason nothing was being coordinated properly. EVERY DAY CAME WITH A NEW EXCUSE: • Day 1 – “It’s raining.” They sent us a photo of rain in Pretoria, despite claiming the truck was in Bloemfontein. • Day 2 – “The truck broke down.” Conveniently, the mechanic “damaged” the tracking device — the same tracking we PAID for. • Day 3 – “Shared load delays.” First time they finally admitted it, despite NEVER telling us upfront. • Day 4 – “Delivery before 5pm.” Nothing. • Day 5 – “It will be there today.” Still nothing. • Day 6 – “It’s on the way.” Still nothing. THE DRIVERS WERE THE ONLY PROFESSIONALS The drivers were the ONLY people who made any effort to help us. They personally called to explain: • They had not been given instructions to leave • They were also frustrated by the lack of direction • The delays were not caused by them, but by the office • They were trying their best but received no guidance from the delivery manager Their honesty made it painfully obvious where the real breakdown was happening. FINALLY RECEIVED — 6 DAYS LATE Our furniture only arrived on Friday, a full six days late. There was no apology, no accountability, no compensation, and STILL no communication from any manager or owner. WHAT WE EXPERIENCED: • False promises • Hidden shared load • Broken tracking “by mistake” • Rude, dismissive delivery manager • Sales staff who became unhelpful • ZERO communication from management • Additional costs for accommodation • Endless excuses and contradictions • Six days late delivery • Only the drivers showed professionalism This company operates with no integrity, no reliability, and no respect for the people trusting them with their belongings. I will be attaching screenshots of their messages and behaviour so others can see exactly what we went through. Avoid this company at ALL costs. They are unreliable, dishonest, and will leave you stranded without your belongings while giving you excuse after excuse.

I've moved a couple of times in my life and I must say using OntheMove Logistics was the easiest, most affordable and friendliest service I've ever got. Thank you for the care you took with my furniture loading and offloading. The guys' attitudes were also amazing, they turned what was a stressful time for me into an easy transition with no worries.

This company is a ****. Their VAT number is false, they do not have a company registration number and the refuse refunds even if they have incurred no expenses as the move would be in 3 or 4 months. They do not have contracts and con you with"specials"which have to be paid by immediate transfer which you cannot reclaim. They also use the same invoice number for all invoices. There Street address is in Sandton Johannesburg but the bank is in Britz. They are not registered with SARS do presumably pay no tax I have had to go the legal Do not use them. They are dishonest to the core

All I will say is don't come here, rather go with another company!!! The company is a start up, they borrow a 5ton truck to have it driving around the country because they don’t have trucks themselves so chances of you getting your things picked up or delivered late are very high. Their processes are non-existent, and only exist when you want to complain about their service, for instance: I called to enquire about their service to move goods in a 2 bedroom apartment from Centurion to Cape town and I was immediately told of a special for 8999 for September to do so, failing which then the normal price would be 10999, no form to list inventory, no nothing. Was pressured to pay the 50% deposit because the demand for their service was high (I highly doubt there was demand). Upon the collection of my goods, I was told that I overstated the quantity of items and needed to pay an extra R3000 or else the deal is off. Then you ask yourself, overstating the quantity where??? Because it was last minute and I was desperate to move things, I paid. 3 Guys came to take my stuff, TV was wrapped in a blanket, mattress not covered, nothing. Not like they have it in pictures they post, for me anyway. Them taking the goods was easy, them delivering was the most difficult thing ever! Delivery was 4 days late, imagine sleeping on the floor for 4 days because your bed is somewhere in the country. The guys that took my goods quit because they themselves have issues with the company that I don't know of. Random 2 guys were hired into making delivery of my goods on this late 4th day and were not told they would have to drop them off in my apartment, once again, all that was asked was collection address and delivery address, no document provided to specify list of items, no document provided to specify whether you are in a complex, freehold, ground floor or 20th floor. So the guys that were hired to drop off stuff were shocked to realise they have to put the stuff in my apartment on the 1st floor of the building. When you call Zanele (operations manager) about this she says I didn't notify them that I am on the 1st floor, theres no established moving company that wouldn't cater to this. Because things were collected in haste from the "strorage" in Siphiwo Street, Kayelitsha some items were left behind, I had to spend some more to make means to get the stuff. They claim to have associations with the likes of LoadAlot for assistance where they may be lacking but such association does not exist, outside of the owner (Zimkhitha Mjeza) of the company having worked there at some point in her past. IN SUMMARY: Worst moving company you could ever use, no processes no procedures, they will tell you about the need for you to spend more money (Lerato) and your stuff will be late. And they have all the excuses in the world for why you can't get your stuff in time like they said you would or why they cant use their "associates" to make the delivery on their behalf. Their own workers are quitting on them and you, the customer are not a priority AT ALL.

All I will say is don't come here, rather go with another company!!! Let me start by saying that theres a chance that some of the people giving 5 stars here are friends or family of the business (if we can call it that) and not real clients, the real clients are those giving 1 stars.
