Within 20min after logging claim and insurer I was contacted by Outeniqua Plumbing, and withing 1 hour they visited my business to assess the situation. Now less than 24 hours later and the matter is finalized, brand new geyser fitted. Great and professional service recieved.

My house burnt down on the 1st of September 2023 and outeniqua got the tender to fix it. Even though their staff is very friendly, their workmanship and empty promises are appaling! I was promised the repairs would be done by the 15th of December 2023 and it is the 3rd of July 2024 and the case is still not closed. The workers would arrive at 10am break for tea at 11 and lunch again at 1. Packing up at 3 everytime and leaving the place a total mess! Building continued well into January 2024 and since then I've stuggled with leaking roof, gutters and replacements of poor quality. They damaged my property like gardenhoses and using the toilets without flushing them for weeks causing all 3 toilets in the house to have everlasting stains. When removing the gutters and roofplates on my terrace they just threw them on the ground causing them to crack and break before putting them back up. Not to mention they find it acceptable to replace a 1m blind on a 110cm window leaving 4cm bare on the one side and 6cm on the other. They didn't seal my kitchen counters properly and thus a few months in the counters are already starting to rot and pull apart. And since they were taking very long to replace my livingroom blinds they told me to go ahead and do it myself for which they will reimburse me. Its the 3rd of July 2024 and I still have to phone them every week asking when they will do the reimbur*****t. The snaglist is too long to even mention and they changed my geyser outlet without asking which is now causing serious damage to the wall in my daughter's room causing the pain to peel off inside. Very unhappy and honestly hope no one has to struggle with them as much as I have to.

It has been the most horrible experience dealing with Outeniqua Plumbing. I run a holoday home in Wilderness. I have struggled for 6 months to get a geyser replaced by them. The only reason I had to use them is because the insurance company oppointed them and they are the only plumbing company in the region who works with the insurance company. They have been out to the house 5 times and my geyser is still not installed correctly. They were late or moved appointments around every single time we had a scheduled appointment. It is a solar geyser. Their technicians do not have the required skills or experience to work on solar geysers. I have also dealt with the owner, Fanie, on multiple times, but unfortunately he has a do not care attitude amd makes promises that he cannot keep. They are *********** and have cost a holiday home thousands of rands because we had to close the booking calendar due to not having hot water.

<div>I'm appalled and frustrated by our experience with Outeniqua Plumbers, recommended by FOGI. First, after installing our geyser, the solar panel they fitted short-circuited a mere day later. This not only damaged the solar system but also caused our pump to break. To make matters worse, when they were informed about the broken pump, they demanded another R500 on FOGI's advice, despite us already paying an excess fee. Unbelievably, they also left their trash, including food wrappers, inside our ceiling. After investing time and money in repairs, painting, and more, things didn't end there. We woke up one morning to find one of the stop ****s they had installed leaking profusely in our ceiling. Turns out, it was a faulty stop **** they fitted! When we reached out to address these unacceptable issues, especially given the urgency of having a one-week-old baby at home without water, Cindy's response was simply to advise us to "launch this with our insurance." It seems like we are now on the hook for another excess fee, just to get them to fix their shoddy work. How is it possible for so many things to go wrong at once? Be aware!</div>

I am in the same boat as you guys. Our geyser broke. Outeniqua plumbers came out on order of FOGI and fixed the geyser. A day after they finalised the installation of the geyser and wiring, the solar panel short circuited and also caused the pump connected to the solar system BREAK. We paid another R500 excess fee. When the plumbers saw the pump was broken they said they can only fix it if we pay another R500 (on advice of Fogee). They also left their trash in our ceiling!!!!! food and chips papers. We went through all the effort of fixing everything, paying excess and painting our bathroom. How can 3 things break at the same time??? that ..... we woke up one morning and one of the stop ****s that they installed were LEAKING in our roof... it was a faulty stop **** that they fitted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people dont know what they are doing. We phoned them, explained the situation and also told them we have a one week old baby and no water at the moment. They told us sorry launch this with your insurance!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reviewed them online and they closed their google listing and made a laywer phoned me, the owner of the business phoned me and he was SO SO SO RUDE to me. Another female staff member as well. This morning a pressure valve they installed for us also broke!!! I smell a rat
