Party City doesnt come to the party
I went into your Tableview branch about 20min ago, trying to purchase a pack of balloons and a roll of ribbon. Your FNB card machine clearly wasn’t working, as it declined both my cards for an amount of under R55. I asked the cheeky staff member with two childish ponytails on his head (how unprofessional an appearance) if they had another manner in which to pay, or another machine. He didn’t not try re-boot the FNB machine. Instead he said “shame, maybe your card isn’t used to that amount ” which I found INCREDIBLY disrespectful. I am a business owner in the area and will most definitely boycott a store that treats me in this manner. Wow, I am actually speechless. I did ask for assistance with a manager, or head office’s number, which he also ignored. Can you shed some light on this please ? Is this the manner in which your business operates ? (also, why do you charge R23 for a helium fill when other stores charge R9.99)

Rude party city
Returned stuff as party was canceled it was pass 7 days bt I did not open anything was in original packaging returned on day 9 . Cashier phoned owner I asked to speak to explain why I'm returning nothing was used he refused terrible service I will never recommend them owner pathetic . Shop should be closed down

Go to westpack or crazy store
Overinflated prices. Not competitive. No prices on items. Do not tell you what is included in your balloon setup until you find multiple exorbitant items on your receipt. Highly not recommended. I would rather not buy any balloons again than patronise their store.

I want my refund
I bought goods worth over 600 rand and returned them the same day because of a misunderstanding. I was given a refund receipt and was advised I will get my money in 7 days it has been more that 3 weeks I have not received anything . It is the Northgate store and they are not picking up my calls????? Terrible

Proper Training on Staff
On the 19th Wednesday we went to horizon view to buy some drinks at checkers but we decided to go at Party City at check wat do they have there.. the was 3 ladies and 1 guy.. this ladies they were so friendly I decided to buy something it cost 15 but that guy said he can't help I must buy with more than 50.. I worked at retail I know he was pushing sales but he was not supposed to day coz at retail normally they work with conversion.. each and every customer that enter the store must buy something it doesn't mean that they have to return u when u have to pay..That guy need a proper training coz now the company loose that 15 and it will be added on something..

Shock at The Party Palace In Centurion Mall
Staff were friendly but extremely over priced! We Baught Helium party balloons of various colours as well as a large Nr. 3 helium compatible balloon. As we were in a hurry we did not ask prices as would be wise to do especially as not everything was marked... so we were charged R200 for the single nr 3 balloon and R3 per other standard helium balloon. This is x3 the price of exact same brand at other stores... R200! Instead of R70! They also had Halloween decorations at the entrance that had my almost 3 year old hysterical in tears and traumatised. So if convenience it the goal this store is probably a good idea, but if on a budget, especially a covid budget, stear clear!
