No sense of urgency!
Don’t bother if your case is an emergency, they put me on a waiting list for almost three years while she has been in contact with the paediatrician “ Dr N Sibiya “ that was discharging my baby from Netcare Waterfall hospital to go and see her for further evaluation as a specialist with all the relevant docs and scans. Follow up calls you will be dismissed and advised that they is nothing the practice can do as they are fully booked, when you state the waiting period of your appointment the receptionist by the name of “ Teresa “ will further add salt to your wound by saying it’s impossible and be dismissive and rude too proud to even apologise. Urgent cases do not exist! Lack of empathy! Thought “ emergency “ existed in the medical field💭wait till you call this practice or maybe it’s for certain “individuals “ / certain “ medical professionals “ I’ve attached my referral letter from Dr Sibiya Netcare Waterfall since it was dismissed as impossibility.

Exceptional work ethic & highly recommended!
Excellent Dr. Always goes above and beyond for her patients & strives for excellence. I can highly recommend her!! Thank you for your brilliant service & help with our two boys.

Excellent Doctor
Doctor Kock was very accurate and thorough with her diagnosis. She always kept us up to date with our child's health. She forms a very special bond with her patients. Would not recommend anyone else! Liam's health has improved so much and it's all thanks to Doctor Celeste Kock.

Excellent Doctor

What a great pediatrician!
Thank you so much for all the attention and care you have given to little Carla. You go the extra mile every time and makes Carla always feel so safe. Your diagnosis were spot on the first time around, after seeing so many pediatricians who could not find the problem. Will not be taking my child anywhere else you Doctor Kock!

Thank you so much for all the attention and care you have given to little Carla. You go the extra mile every time and makes Carla always feel so safe. Uncaring doctor
We took my 3 year old son for investigation of a gastric issue he was experiencing. She prescribed some medication. Subsequent to administering it my son experienced significant abdominal pain and diarrhea. We tried calling the doctor but were told by reception she couldn’t talk to us and we should send an email. No response was received. My son’s stomach settled when I stopped the meds and we were waiting for the next appointment. Because I had been upset about the lack of response left a google review basically saying she did not respond to emails or calls and I would not recommend her. Subsequently we had to cancel our follow up due to contracting COVID. My some once again experienced abdominal pains and I emailed her asking for her opinion. 5 days later received an angry response that she will now refuse to treat my son because of my google review. No concern for the fact that she did not contact us regarding what was an urgent query at the time. Any parent will attest to the helplessness you feel when your child is in pain. Her excuse for not responding to our email was that ‘she was very busy and then had gone on leave’ and that email was a ‘non urgent form of communication’, despite having been told the only way we could send a query was on email. She had also not previously addressed the non response. Additionally we had to pay up front for the appointment and the practice was extremely tardy in sending us a statement to claim for medical aid. No concern that we have to pay R2k up front and they can’t be bothered to send a statement without badgering. All in all an extremely unpleasant experience and would not recommend this doctor despite there being very few pediatric gastros in the country. Very uncaring doctor who is more concerned for herself than her young vulnerable patients.

Dr Celeste Kock, Appointment system
Made an appointment to see this Dr in January and the 1st available appointment was on the 6th March 2018. All is well and I get a confirmation message and reminder on the 2nd March. So we put leave for work and set off to the Dr. which is on the other side of the world. We get there before our appointment which was at 11 to get told we not on the system... So I show the sms, so it takes about 45min to try understand whats happened. We get told we can get helped at 13:00, we explain we have an appointment for 1:30. So frustrating as we have wasted a day and been inconvenienced wasted petrol, the Dr could not even come personally and apologize.
