****** TV BY PELICAN TV REPAIRS
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Two men came to assess our TV, told us they needed to take it to get repaired. They sent us the supposed quote after I contacted them 2 days later. We rejected the quote & asked for our tv back. They won't pick up my calls or texts since. They stole our TV.

Repairing my tv? Or ****** my tv? This company cannot possibly be legit
These guys walked out of my apartment with my TV, telling me they needed just one part and no more than 2 days to repair it. Then they stopped communications. They couldn’t even send an invoice with legit baking details. No docket proving what work they’re doing or when to expect the tv back. At this point I have tried being reasonable and it hasn’t worked. They disappeared with my TV and, as I warned them, I have the serial number of the tv, CCTV stills of the guys walking out my building with the tv, their car model and identifiers, their number plates, and the names of their colleagues who run the website. If my tv isn’t back tomorrow and working, I’ll be lodging a case with SAPS as they have had my tv without my permission - I’ve asked for it to be returned, they choose to ignore. Absolutely **********- don’t ever let these guys pull the wool over your eyes.

Beware of scam tv repair business
Also known as Elite Television Repairs. Search result for "TV Repair" returned a Google ad for Elite Television Repairs (www.elitetelevisionrepairs.co.za) at the top of the search result. Visited the site and called the number. They sent 2 technicians out, who communicated via WhatsApp on a different phone number. They checked my TV and said it needed to go into the workshop for repair. They gave me a receipt for the collection, which has "Pelican Television Repairs" on it, and said it will be returned same day in 4 hours. After 6 hours I asked on WhatsApp what was happening with my repair. No answer. I tried again 30 minutes later. No response. Next morning I called the number on the website and was told that the technician will be asked about the status of my repair. No returned call. Future calls to this number have been ignored. The WhatsApp number also gets no response for hours and when they do respond, they give you the runaround.

Con artist for TV's and radios
Mike came to my house on 19 Nov 2021 after my my TV n radio were hit by lightning. The TV luckily was still switching on, he managed to fix it and paid him immediately. I then asked him to go check my neighbor TV n radio as they were struck by lightning as well. He took a power board from my neighbor TV saying he needs to go buy another one and will come back with a new one, I also gave him my radio as it was not switching on n told me he has to take it with to the workshop. Till today this guy has not shown up, he told us he was involved in a car accident n the car is being fixed, last week told us the car is fixed will bring our stuff back, we still waiting today. He is not answering our calls nor whatsapp messages, he is ghosting us. The guy is a foreign, dark in complexion, average height. He drove a white polo Vivo when he came to my place. His numbers are: +27 68 193 1516 and +27 69 171 3806. If you ever make contact with this number for TV Repairs please be careful.

Do not let these guys take your TV . Collected our TV on Friday 3 Dec 2021 , said the LED back lights were blown. Promised the TV back on Saturday 4 Dec 2021 , told us the power supply also needed replacing - promised the TV back on Sunday 5 Nov 2021 - no communication no TV - Promised the TV back today 6 Dec 2021 no TV , When we threatened to report the TV stolen they laughed at us - we signed the TV over to them they said we welcome to report them . Do not use them suspected scam. No communication no feedback . Insurance will not pay out because you willingly handed over your TV . We have been burnt ,please be careful.

John came and fixed my tv the power board- end is September 2021, the power board is kaput again this is mid November my receipt says 12 months guarantee. I have contacted him , he does not pick my calls and is not responding to my queries. I paid him a total of 1600 and we had a good dealing even have the receipt from his company. But now when I need help they don’t want to answer my calls. Just so sad.

John came and fixed my tv the power board- end is September 2021, the power board is kaput again this is mid November my receipt says 12 months guarantee. I have contacted him , he does not pick my calls and is not responding to my queries. I paid him a total of 1600 and we had a good dealing even have the receipt from his company. But now when I need help they don’t want to answer my calls. Just so sad.
