Ordered "leather chairs" specific look and colour, and got wrong chairs. Not same as images as advertised! Also took very long to get it delivered. False advertising!! Chairs too big to go through standard door. Cannot put it in room where intended. Very disappointed.

I ordered a chaize lounge from Macro and the delivery date is today, the 8th August 2025. Except there is no delivery. I phoned Macro and they said the supplier, Penna Furniture, is not ready!!! No details given at all. I suggest Makro manage their suppliers properly, as it is Makro's reputation that will suffer. That's just dumb business in my opinion. I am extremely dissapointed, and now have no idea when, or if indeed my furniture will be delivered at all. I will never buy from Macro again. If my couch is not here by Monday, I will cancel my order and demand a refund. Talk about missed opportunity to be reviewed positively, Makro.

I ordered a chaize lounge from Macro and the delivery date is today, the 8th August 2025. Except there is no delivery. I phoned Macro and they said the supplier, Penna Furniture, is not ready!!! No details given at all. I suggest Makro manage their suppliers properly, as it is Makro's reputation that will suffer. That's just dumb business in my opinion. I am extremely dissapointed, and now have no idea when, or if indeed my furniture will be delivered at all. I will never buy from Macro again. I ordered a Penna furniture solid wood 2 seater ottoman on the 01st March through Makro online. This product showed available stock on order. On confirmation it showed delivery would be 13th March, which I thought was a bit of a long lead time for something in stock. Their online portal did not show any progress so I called their 0860 number and was told that they would escalated it but it was a supplier issue. 4 more phone calls later and delivery date has come and gone and still no further on what is happening with my delivery only that they escalated it. I ordered things from Shein 2 days after I ordered this and they arrived 4 days ago and I can't get an ottoman that's supposed to be in stock delivered from Joburg to Durban. As such a big business you would think if Makro was going to do business with a company they would make sure they were a reliable supplier unless Penna Furniture are just the scape goat for a lack luster online system ?
