Ordered "leather chairs" specific look and colour, and got wrong chairs. Not same as images as advertised! Also took very long to get it delivered. False advertising!! Chairs too big to go through standard door. Cannot put it in room where intended. Very disappointed.
According to Makro's emails, the order was handed to Value Express Logistics on 24 December 2025. After numerous emails, phone calls etc, Makro gave me courier company details. I checked my order on waybill no given and showed on delivery in the morning! I phoned courier company for them to confirm it will be delivered before 5pm Friday afternoon. I phoned them again after 4pm and no one could get hold of the driver. At 17h30 still nothing. Can't axess their website, nor can you get hold of them telephonically. It's pathetic service!!!!! Waiting more than 2 weeks for order!!

Pathetic service! We requested golf clubs to be sent from Three Rivers Vereeniging to Cape Town, first it took at least 2 day before system was updated to go in transit, just for the vehicle to be "hijacked" and we found out 1-2 days after following up on parcel. Since my brother bought the clubs about 6 years ago and passed away shortly after that, we dont have any proof of value of the clubs, it was taken out of storage and sent to us. To replace same clubs is a substantial amount of money! All that Postnet can say is sorry, without proof of value they cannot claim for loss of goods! So its so easy to turn away from customers that dont pay extra for insurance on their parcels! Why does Postnet have insurance for clients in case of damage etc. Why must clients pay for their own insurance to send something? Now the clubs are going and we dont have any payout from Postnet, even if amount does not even cover our loss! Feedback from emails are poor! They just decided that insurance company is not going to pay out because there is no inv and without submitting it to insurance company and without advising us. Had to phone them again days after to find out its not yet submitted. Really poor service! I will never use them again. Really distraught about this as it was very sentimental to us! We do understand SA is the playgroung for ********s, but businesses like Postnet should have their clients covered! Insurance option was not even mentioned when golf clubs was handed over to them. This is one way for a client to remember you. ("Still no email feedback today after another 3 weeks)

First time we booked with Lift Airline! Family arrived at OR Tambo 2 hours before flight, just to find out that flight is delayed for about 4 hours!! They travelled more than 3 hours to OR Tambo just to find out flight is delayed. We had to leave CPT airport to a fully paid weekend away for my 50th birthday. Now they will only arrive at night and make it very difficult to travel at night. Its really very disappointing. No phones are working. No one reply on email! So so bad!
Answer phones relatively quickly. Consultant is always friendly and helpful. Resolves issues quickly.
Overall great service. Just slow on replacement items.
