Ridiculously expensive
Although quick to come out after I had sent an enquiry online requesting a quote, which I didn't receive upfront, they then invoiced me caR9k for a Centurion garage door motor which retails at about R3,2k. When I asked why such a big difference, they say they had to pay extra to ensure they can guarantee me the item for 3 years. Please insist on a quote upfront because these guys will take you to the cleaners with their prices

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They should get a -5 star. Very rude company, unprofessional and ridiculous expensive. Wait the full day for them to arrive, no communication or at least a time when they will come. Came out to look at a problem of garage door and then force you to pay R495 just for the quote without disclosing it before they come out. They then quoted almost R7000 for a small issue and want to replace the complete motor. Had it done by another company for R900 and no quote fee. This company is out to **** you and pay for no work, will not recommend them at all. They also create different names for their business and also trade under Door Repair Specialists, this is already a red flag if they use different names. When you query the details with them they get very rude and personal, safe yourself the stress and use a reputable company,

Trevor Stewart the owner of the Pinnacle Services – Garage Doors & Garage Door Repairs refuses to bring back my Centurion Smart 04 Garage motor that his staff men took for an assessment. As a result of reoccurrence of a fault, an assessment needed to be carried. I told Trevor not to pursue with the fix but insist I pay him R750 for the assessment, petrol and call out fee. I had initially paid him R4300 for the job and 20 days later the motor is not working. He refuses to bring my motor not unless I pay him R750.

Trevor Stewart the owner of the Pinnacle Services – Garage Doors & Garage Door Repairs refuses to bring back my Centurion Smart 04 Garage motor that his staff men took for an assessment. As a result of reoccurrence of a fault, an assessment needed to be carried. I told Trevor not to pursue with the fix but insist I pay him R750 for the assessment, petrol and call out fee. Threats of ************ and assault after job "completed" without approval
Pinnacle were contacted to assist with a quotation for 2 garage doors that were badly installed after an insurance claim. They arrived on site and began making adjustments and "replacing" parts which they claimed weren't "heavy-duty". They failed to submit a written or oral quotation and commenced the repairs on their own accord having claimed that "someone" on site gave them the go-ahead. An invoice was submitted for R14500 which included replacement of roller bearings, pulleys, alignment of tracks, refitting of brackets, reprogramming of motors and re-tensioning of springs. When I discussed it with their manager, he kept saying he will give a discount to which I didn't agree too as this job was never authorized. I believe it was the owner who then contacted me, and we had a disagreement, and he was then due to come to my house to remove all parts. He then told me that R7000 was his lowest offer and I said that besides the lack of authorization the costs were very overinflated and they didn't leave behind the old parts to prove that anything was replaced as I had seen that some pulleys were still the old ones from the previous installation as they were bent from that and it was obvious that they weren't brand new. I equated that the parts (if actually installed) amount to R3040 and when I queried how they can justify R11500 for a 1.5hr installation I was told that it is what they charge and that I am a cheap skate and a ***** as I am refusing to pay. I made a payment of R4740 and sent it through then I was threatened with assault for me and my family and that they would make me pay one way or another and I would be caught when I least expect it. If you read through the Hello Peter complaints with regards to other experiences with pinnacle Services, it all makes sense that these people are known to do this. I have had to record the conversation and lay a case of ************ with SAPS in the event that the owner intends to carry out his threats.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS, HORRIBLE SERVICE. First they didn't do a great job. When I call them to come fix their mess they make me wait then later tell me that they will not come if I don't pay again. How am I expected to pay for a job that wasn't properly done from the beginning.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! 627 Ondekkers Road Delaray Roodepoort If you want a headache and stress, use this nonsense company for the worst experienceof your life! I had a gate motor, garage door and motor installed. A day after installation, the gate has a problem and I keep getting promises that someone will come out to help but no one shows up. 5 days later after some rain and wind, the garage door collapsed and still no one comes out. They don't want to come out to assess or fix their mess or give refunds and they are never available at their offices.
