We have been using Plumb Ambulance for about 12 years with odd plumbing jobs, always receiving good service and a reasonable fee (of which they are transparent beforehand). In December 2025 they assisted us with leak detection at a very big stand and house causing very high utility bills. After the leaks detected were repaired the Tshwane water meter was still running like crazy. JJ discussed all options with us and we opted to have the water supply to the house re-installed because the large water leaks could not be found (we have a stand that is against a hill). The worked was a little bit extended, but that was due to the festive Hollidays. They left the site with very little damage to the grass and paving where they redirected the water supply. They were transparent at all times, and JJ and Geraldine really went the extra mile for us. All workers were very well behaved and polite. Was a pleasure to deal with this Company. Thank you, JJ and team.

I had a burst geyser at home in late April. Plumb Ambulance Pretoria was contracted by the body corporate through their insurance to attend to the problem and they eventually replaced the geyser. Within two days, the geyser was malfunctioning with the water not quite heating up and if it did the water would be cold after one person showered. I called plumb ambulance and they wanted to charge me a call out fee of R900 for a job that they were supposed to do properly in the first place. After some back and forth they came to look at it but the problem never went away. Now less than two months from initial installation, the geyser trips and we do not have hot water in this chilly winter weather. Zero customer service from plumb Ambulance Pretoria.

They did work for us about 2-3 years ago at Lavender close 68 and now the leak is back. I have called numerous time but they refuse to let me speak with the Owner Mr Barkhuizen. I have written numerous email and only get back we will look into the case. I understand that the warrantee might be expired but at least call or respond to the emails and then make contact with us for a investigation. Very disappointed, so hopefully we can resolve soonest. Greetings

I would never deal with Plumb Ambulance again. Sharon and JJ from Plumb Ambulance are the worst. Sharon hasn't have any clue on what's going on there and she also talks bad about the clients to their Plumbers on site. its been 2 weeks now and my problem is still not sorted nor have they called me to rectify it.

My toilet had a leak, and my landlady sent these fools to come and fix it. They did a lot of other work, instead of just fixing the leak. In the proses they cracked my toilet on the inside and on the outside. Now I'm a 53 year old working man. I clean my place on weekends, and during the week I keep it as clean as possible. Every weekend that I have been washing my toilet inside and out there has never been a crack. So when I contacted them, they told me it was an existing crack. I suggest that you find a more reliable plumber. These guys do not know how to own up to mistakes made by them. POOR POOR SERVICE

They damaged the bathroom wall when fixing a leak in a pipe in the wall. The pipe is still leaking. They still after 2 months not bothered to repair the damaged wall I site the bathroom. They want me to pay additional costs to repair the damage that they have caused. They are a no go.

Plumb ambulance were supposed to repair a leaking pipe in a bathroom at ILLALA PALMS 43. They chopped the area in the wall open to repair the pipe but it is still leaking. They did not close the area and left the tiles and walls damaged. They were paid for repairs but they refuse to fix the damage. I have photos of the damage. Where can I attach them. They are from the north of Pretoria.

I got Plumb Ambulance to fix the drain at my back door that was overflowing on 24 January 2023. They came out and got it"fixed" in about 15 minutes. All they did was to plunge a wire contraption into the drain, move it up and down, and water level receeded. Two bottles of drain acid was poured into our drain and almost a R 1000 later, for 15 minutes, they left. No blockage or anything was removed or checked. One day later everything surged to the top and overflowed again. When I contacted them today the excuse was that we through food down the drain, apparently they saw some fat in water, that is why the warranty on the jobcard of 48 hours is now null and void. Really? We have never ever done anything like that, anyone with brains would now that. The warranty only says : Drains carry a 48 hour warranty. No other excuse. I would have to pay again if there were to come out again. This is a clever way of making money plus you don't even have to do your job properly the first time. So please don't use these guys! They are scamsters.
