I am sick and tired of getting calls from Vodacom call Centre every single day about migration on my account. It is harassment! I keep on saying I am not interested but the calls keep on coming every day. The call Centre staff are not thinking about the customer but their own **** pockets, it's all about commission that they can earn and not saving you money. I want this harassment to stop. I am not interested it tying myself to an extended contract for another 36 months as I am a pensioner and cannot afford it. What must I do to stop these calls on a daily basis???????????

I got Plumb Ambulance to fix the drain at my back door that was overflowing on 24 January 2023. They came out and got it"fixed" in about 15 minutes. All they did was to plunge a wire contraption into the drain, move it up and down, and water level receeded. Two bottles of drain acid was poured into our drain and almost a R 1000 later, for 15 minutes, they left. No blockage or anything was removed or checked. One day later everything surged to the top and overflowed again. When I contacted them today the excuse was that we through food down the drain, apparently they saw some fat in water, that is why the warranty on the jobcard of 48 hours is now null and void. Really? We have never ever done anything like that, anyone with brains would now that. The warranty only says : Drains carry a 48 hour warranty. No other excuse. I would have to pay again if there were to come out again. This is a clever way of making money plus you don't even have to do your job properly the first time. So please don't use these guys! They are scamsters.
I visited Vodacom at Mall@Reds in Centurion today to complain about the fact that Vodacom still has not arranged with RAM couriers to collect the faulty Mecer laptop on contract as per Online department of Vodacom. When i contacted them in November to tell them it is faulty, not even switching on the gentleman assured me that the contract will be cancelled and i will not be billed. REALLY? Then why is the debit order going through my bank for a product which is broken, faulty, not working at all, plus it was supposed to be collected. It is 3 months later and still no response. Please dont tell me RAM cannot get hold of me because everyone gets hold of me. Unless the stupid idiots are not using my correct cell number which i have confirmed several times before. WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE RECTIFIED? i INSIST THAT THIS CONTRACT BE CANCELLED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND THAT VODACOM PAYS BACK MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! Anna at Vodacom store tried to contact Online department but apparently they are experiencing technical problems and could not take her call. It seems this will never be resolved. To debit my accounts for a faulty laptop that was supposed to be collected and contract should have been cancelled in my opinion is FRAUD!!!!
I am now at my whits end with Vodacom. I received a Mecer Guru Laptop from Vodacom rewards. All done by phone. RAM deluvered it to me beginning of November 2021. Immediately the same day I couldn't get it switched on, it's not even working. I had no contact details, no contract came with the delivery, so who must I contact. Took it to Vodacom shop at Mall@ Reds in Centurion who told me they are not allowed to take it back. They contac8thecrewards department who assured me RAM would be contacting me to collect, they will cancel contract. Well, it's 2 months later, no one has tried to contact me? No response to my emails. I am now sick and tired of Vodacom. Even my contract with them when I upgraded to my Huawei phone is a disaster. Instead of doing a simswop I'm no paying for a contract where I'm not enjoying any free min or data, nothing, for a number that does not even exist. What must I do with the Mecer Guru laptop, throw it in the dustbin????
It's funny how quick staff from MTN call Centre can get you to take out a new contract, because it is all about earning commission, isn't it. It does not matter that you are conning a 95 year old pensioner? MTN contacted my Dad re a new contract for my Mum, he pays for it through a debit order. Instead of continuing using my Mum's existing cell number they gave him a new contract with a new number, so all the free minutes, data and so forth will never be used? He specifically asked them what happens to her old contract, and they said it will be canceled. Today she tried phoning and found out she had no airtime, she was shocked. How is MTN going to rectify this problem. Mum is 84 years old. She doesn't have a dual Sim, or the knowledge of what to do next. Absolutely disgusting that a call Centre can do this. When her contract is up I will personally move her away from MTN for ever!!!!
In February 2020 I paid off my Moms Woolworths account with Brooks & Luyt Attorneys as it was handed over to them. The reason why my Mom got behind with her payments( by the way she is 85) was because she had two strokes. It took months before she could walk again, her speech was affected , she is almost totally deaf and she cannot walk on her own. When the attorneys tried to contact her she could not understand them, couldn't hear what they were trying to say to her. They phoned again one day when I was with her and I took the call and made an arrangement to pay off her debt. Brooks & Luyt took their time to pay money over to Woolworths as lock down happened in March. I got a settlement letter from Woolworths legal department 30 June 2020 stating that my Moms account is paid off, the balance is zero and account is closed. In March this year my Mom started getting calls from Brooks & Luyt attorneys regarding her Woolworths account that is outstanding and that has been handed over to them. What I would love to know is what on earth is going on in Woolworths legal department? Where do they get their staff from because obviously they are not trained at doing that type of work? How can you hand over an account with a zero balance, that is closed? I think whoever is responsible for this should be fired, they should not be working there at all. This is a case of someone that did not do their work properly, my Moms details and account wasn't updated and deleted from the system. Now she gets threatening call from the attorneys, which upsets her so, what happens if she gets another stroke? This according to the doctor would end her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what happens if y
My Dad, who is 93, ordered Fibre with a telephone line two weeks ago, and was told two weeks ago it would take 7 to 14 days to install new line. My Dad has been a Telkom client for probably 40 years plus? He received a sms on 21 November saying thank you for ordering the service, his order 551820005A is receiving attention.Today, when calling 10213 he was told a new service takes up to 21 days. Really, maybe by Christmas.?Tried emailing them before too, they asked him to confirm the address again, which he did, still until today no service. Bad service!!!!!! Why does it take so long? My parents moved to Pretoria from Leisure Bay in KZN South Coast and according to my Dad the service there much faster and they communicate the whole time? Well, like all other business in South Africa, Telkom also just does not care to communicate, everyone tells you a different story, and you just have to wait!
I am sick and tired of the bad reception in Centurion area. I am trying to send an urgent email and 1 hour 20 min later is still says queued!!!!!! When are they going to fix the reception problem> Everyone in my complex complains about the same thing!!!!
