Unsatisfactory service
We paid them for a pool pump which they never delivered . When enquiring about it the owner Peter states we have to pay him first claiming we owe him money. We spent over R40 000 with him refurbishing our pool , installed a new pump which was defective & to date he hasn’t returned the pump. We had to contact another pool company to sort this out. Please do not pay up front as he takes your money and doesn’t deliver. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this company at all.

Unsatisfactory service
We paid them for a pool pump which they never delivered . When enquiring about it the owner Peter states we have to pay him first claiming we owe him money. We spent over R40 000 with him refurbishing our pool , installed a new pump which was defective & to date he hasn’t returned the pump. We had to contact another pool company to sort this out. Please do not pay up front as he takes your money and doesn’t deliver. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this company at all.

Poor workmanship - Pool Services
Very dissapointed with this company - Pool Services. My husband and I have sent numerous of messages/ phone calls to Peter and his staff. Till this day I have not received a call or a message from him or his staff. They workmanship is absolutely poor quality the paving is broken the creepy crawly they have given us is at the moment tied with a shoe lace just so it can clean my pool floors. My husband paid these people cash and after they received the cash once the pool was build they have no interest at all in fixing they errors. I would NOT recommend this company to my family and friends.

Terrible service from “Pool servicing” company. KZN pool services trading as Pool Services.
Terrible service from “Pool servicing” company. KZN pool services trading as Pool Services. I hate complaining and actually wasting my time complaining about poor service, but I am so sick of being taken for a ride by service providers that are paid to do a job, which they never do. I don’t want others to have their time wasted engaging companies like this that can’t do what they offer or charge for. I understand problems arise, but when a company is at fault and has an issue, deal with the problem and apologize to your customer. When a company has a second issue and then a third issue, they have an issue and it is not a once off. Then later to have the company have a go at you, is too much. After reporting the further issues and sending invoices from Berrys Mowers & Pools to them, and deducting these invoices for items we paid monthly for them to maintain and provide. I also don’t like complaining as Durban is small and I am sure someone uses them and has never had an issue or knows them and cant believe this or is offended, I am sorry. Don’t use “Pool Services”. More info below if you want: I paid "pool services" to take care of our pool. This has not been done, quite the contrary. "Pool services" send an unqualified guy to "care for" and "maintain" our pool. I have just pulled up some CCTV photage. The staff member spent an average of 22 minutes per visit at our property. No tests have been done on our pool, nor has the salt chlorinator been cleaned or looked after. I don’t think he has even been trained how to backwash a pool. I don’t blame the staff member, I blame the company. At R650 a month for 95 minutes to sweep and vacuum a pool. It means I am paying R433 an hour for unqualified staff. (around R60k a month) Throwing an HTH floater in a pool is not classified as maintaining a pool. (don’t get me wrong if the service you have paid for has been correctly done in 5 minutes, I don’t have an issue. If I went to a doctor and they could fix me in 5 minutes, I am sure most of us would pay more. I don’t expect to get my times worth, but do the job you get paid for!!) Thank you Peter and Pool Services for a job well done the first time. This seems to be a rarity in any service orientated industry. Thank you also for going above and beyond and coming to my rescue so timeously when another contractor let me down. I am forever grateful and will sing your praises to anyone who will listen!
