Postnet promises to get your police clearance to you faster than the police station, which is why I used there service which is R800 just to courier it and get it back to you faster. Not only did they take about 3 months to get back to me, they also made a lot of false promises how when my documents will be arriving in the last 2 month until I had to get my documents sorted myself. I also went to pick up my own document from the CBD branch in Pretoria. Additionally my documents were to be apostilled by DIRCO and this was simply never done. All of these events lead to the loss of my current job and as well as my job opportunity abroad and postnet still refuses to provide me with a refund, trying to place the blame on me and avoid all responsibility for the mistakes and failure to provide the service promised.

I sent a parcel overnight to Somerset west mall on Tuesday 28 December. I explained that the parcel was urgent and contained cheese for overseas visitors. The lady confirmed that delivery would be done at the latest on Thursday 30 December. I phoned the Scottburgh branch 7 times, but no answer. I phoned the Somerset West branch and they confirmed that the parcel was only shipped today, 30 December. I paid a premium for overnight shipping. Ref. PN8895021

I live in Cape Town and sent my 93 year old mother in a Retirement home in Pennington Kwa Zulu Natal a Christmas box, via postnet on the 14th of December 2021. The parcel was accepted by a lady Veena at Scottburgh on the 17th of December 2021. (Confimred by Postnet Sea Point Manager Patrick 021 433 0708) My mothers carer went on two occasions (18th and 21st December 2021) as my mom is in a wheelchair to collect the parcel and Postnet Scottburgh said its not there. Post net head office investigated and after a floor search, confirmed that the parcel is missing even though it was accepted by the staff member Veena. All their phones are conveniently down, I called the florist next door who took their phone to POSTNET, when I challenged Veena she put the phone down in my ear. This in NOT ACCEPTABLE. A case of theft has been opened.

Non-existant customer service. My parcel PN8721390 failed to track after 3 days. Requested explanation from dispatching Postnet branch (Scott Street, Scottburgh) who undertook to phone me back, which did not happen. Then failed to answer phone by cutting the call.
