My husband and i visited an watery in Howick KZN. The restaurant is called 'The Village' at yard 41' Howick. The service was really poor. We ordered a pizza and drinks. The drinks were served well enough. But the waiting time for our meal was over 40 minutes at which time we had to call the waiter to inquire about the delay. Eventually another waiter came to ask if we were waiting for our pizza!!!! At which she said it will be out shortly. We just paid for our drinks and left. The service was poor, the waitress was cold and unfriendly. Not recommended.

It is unfortunate that a site such as hellopeter does not allow for the business entity to respond unless you pay a subscription. Proficient Property Management is based in Port Elizabeth, and though some of the reviews are meant for us, many are for a company based in Johannesburg and many of the bad reviews have also been attended to. Our website is www.proficientpropertymanagement.co.za

I am profoundly dismayed by the egregious neglect displayed by the property management company (PPM) in addressing a critical pipe leak outside my apartment complex. Despite multiple reports, including those from neighboring residents—who are owners of their apartments—about the dire situation, PPM has chosen to ignore our pleas for action. It has now been over a month, and the leak persists, forcing me to resort to extreme measures such as shutting off my water meter to prevent further wastage. This deplorable situation is exacerbated by the fact that the leak was also reported by the adjacent apartment owner, yet their emails have been met with the same indifference from PPM. The collective frustration and helplessness felt by both tenants and property owners in the face of such apathy is palpable. Beyond the inconvenience posed by the leak itself, the sheer disregard for our concerns raises serious questions about PPM's commitment to tenant welfare and property upkeep. A leaking pipe not only disrupts daily life but also poses a risk of property damage and contributes to unnecessary water wastage—a resource that should be conserved, especially in today's environmental context. The failure of PPM to address this issue in a timely manner reflects a systemic flaw in their approach to property management. Timely and efficient resolution of maintenance issues is not merely a courtesy but a basic expectation for any reputable property management company. PPM's inability or unwillingness to meet this expectation speaks volumes about their professionalism and reliability. Prospective tenants and property owners would be wise to take heed of this warning and consider the implications of entrusting their property to a management company that demonstrates such blatant disregard for tenant concerns and basic maintenance standards. In conclusion, my experience with PPM regarding the handling of a pipe leak outside my apartment complex has been nothing short of appalling. Their failure to take action despite multiple reports underscores their lack of commitment to tenant welfare and property maintenance, casting serious doubt on their suitability as a property management partner.

They service is very poor here at the Apollo apartments in Sandton Sunninghill. They can’t take care and they don’t go with what is written on their lease agreement and they even lock tenets out when there are delayed payments which is not even stated in the lease and when you ask they don’t reply but when they want something from tenants they expect to get response as soon as possible

There’s always hidden cost which are not outlined from the get go. If you happen to miss to pay your rent in time why are you supposed to be locked outside and not be able to have access to your place? Is it there on the lease? That a tenent must sleep outside? Instead of being charged the fees for late payment? And to switch off the water and wifi until the rent is payed. How do you change someone’s lock and not add the penalties which you agreed with the tenants? Please their communication when it comes to their security is very poor. How can the security not able to reach out to their management after hours when there’s problems? The problem is locking out the tenants out and changing locks. Cause the same security they should make sure that he/she doesn’t go out with the belongings not to lock and change the lock. And getting inside my room without my permission now they invaded my privacy
