Platform Promoting ***** / No Response to Consumer Warnings
PlatfPriceCheck’s behaviour in this matter is extremely troubling. PriceCheck continues to recommend and link to products sold by Tech Trek (techtreksa.store) — a merchant that took payment from me, failed to deliver, and then became completely uncontactable. All contact details provided by this merchant do not work, and their listed address is a rent-a-desk facility, not a legitimate retail business. I have previously warned PriceCheck about this merchant. I received no acknowledgement, no response, and no action. By ignoring credible warnings from affected consumers and continuing to promote this merchant, PriceCheck is actively exposing users to financial loss. This raises serious questions about PriceCheck’s merchant vetting process, consumer protection standards, and transparency. A comparison platform that profits from referrals has a duty to act when ***** concerns are raised. Failing to respond at all is unacceptable and undermines trust in the platform. PriceCheck Enables **** Stores Like techtreksa.store
I am extremely disappointed in PriceCheck and the lack of responsibility they take for the businesses listed on their platform. I trusted PriceCheck as a reputable price-comparison website that lists legitimate retailers. Unfortunately, that trust directly resulted in me being ****med. Through PriceCheck, I was directed to techtreksa.store, a store that appeared to be a normal, legitimate online retailer. I placed an order and paid in full. After payment, the store went completely silent — no delivery, no tracking, no response to emails or calls. Only after losing my money did I discover that techtreksa.store has numerous complaints online, with many customers reporting the exact same experience: payment taken, no delivery, and no communication. This clearly indicates a pattern of **** behaviour. The most concerning part is that PriceCheck allows stores like techtreksa.store to be listed without proper vetting or warnings. This creates a false sense of trust for consumers and turns the platform into a breeding ground for ****mers, who can easily attract unsuspecting buyers and disappear with their money. PriceCheck may claim to be “just a listing platform,” but when you profit from directing consumers to sellers, you carry a responsibility to ensure those sellers are legitimate. Because of this experience, I no longer trust PriceCheck and would strongly warn other consumers: do your own verification and do not assume PriceCheck-listed stores are reputable.

Price Check is worthless
Warning, Price Check do not do any vetting on the products and companies you find when you do a search. They are not like Hippo that use actual registered companies to do evaluations of products. I have done a search on price check for a certain product, given on the website of price check, ordered and paid and it turned out the company does not even exist, it is a *****ulent website that do online sales and never deliver. I have lost a lot of money, and I see that the company is still on price check. This makes Price Check website useless and you can not trust it. Rather stick to companies you know like Makro, Game etc.

Not to be trusted they allow *****ulent companies to post on their site and when you ask for help or report it to them they just carry on want you to search for other company to buy form they are in violation of the consumers act . I bought a Generator thought ascensionshop.online . Price check shown that they have the beat price I paid and have not received the it nore does ascension support reply to my mails or online support and when one phone the they give you options not one option works you get diss connected . My next step is now to open a case at the police station agains price check and ascension as the bank need a case no when one report *****

No trust in "trusted stores"
Have used price check on numerous occasions. Unfortunately they do not live up to their promises of "... Trusted stores...." You may find the cheapest prices but there is no guarantee you will ever receive the goods or a refund from selected store. I have searched for reviews for a number of Price Checks so called trusted stores and very often have nothing but complaints of either goods not received and refunds not processed. I believe price check should remove "trusted" from their claims as it seems they have no idea if the store can be trusted or not. Obviously no background or validity checks done by Price Check.

PriceCheck is eager to house and advertise products and prices of product providers that is abusing and ****ming the unsuspected public i.e. Ascension Rise Enterprises (Pty) Ltd (CIPC Registration Number: 2024/289418/07). The website of PriceCheck even link one to the online site of Ascension to complete an online transaction. But when one then queries from PriceCheck the non-reply and non-performance / non-delivery of product from Ascension, then PriceCheck also goes silent and totally ignores one's online enquiry. Surely if PriceCheck carries the product adverti*****ts of Ascension, they should investigate and take some responsibility for the non-existent service and theft of clients' monies by Ascension.

BEWARE My Tech House and My Tech Shop
My Tech Shop and My Tech House are both listed vendors on Price Check. The good are very cheap and do not get delivered. Price Check is a party to this *****. Be careful of vendors on Price Check
