Procter & Gamble SA
Based on recent customer reviews, Procter & Gamble SA is facing significant dissatisfaction across its core household and personal care brands, including Pampers, Always, Head & Shoulders, and Ariel. Customers consistently mention concerns around declining product quality, with recurring complaints about leaking nappies, defective pads, and shampoos that fail to deliver on their claims. A recurring theme is poor complaint handling, with shoppers describing slow or absent responses from customer care and resolutions perceived as inadequate. Can someone please explain to me WHY a product that has worked perfectly well for generations and generations now all of a sudden has become so utterly ****e!?!?! My 1 year old constantly pees right through his Pampers Nappies every single night, he tends to sleep on his tummy more, but the product simply cannot contain the liquid and additionally the Nappies forever pop and tear releasing the jelly like substances inside the Nappy all over my house and NO before you say the Nappy was too full, they weren't, these Nappies still able to absorb just don't seem to last long enough, absolutely disappointed, it's the 4th packet I purchased where this happens

I’ve been using Always products since I was a teenager, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. I recently purchased a pack from Saverite Phoenix and only discovered, at the time I urgently needed to use them, that multiple pads in the pack were damaged. This left me in a very uncomfortable and stressful situation. It was late at night, stores were closed, and I had to leave for work at 5:45am the next morning. I had no choice but to make a plan and tape the damaged pads just to get through the night and the next day. Throughout the day, I found myself constantly anxious and checking whether the pad would hold up during meetings and normal daily activities. It was honestly humiliating and not something anyone should have to experience from a product that is meant to provide reliability and confidence. Only after getting home from work was I able to go out and purchase a new pack. I reported the issue with full details and photos. Over several days of communication, I remained patient and cooperative, providing additional information and resending images when requested. While the company acknowledged the complaint, the resolution offered was a R60 voucher with store restrictions, which unfortunately does not reflect the impact of the situation or the inconvenience caused. I want to be clear that I am not trying to come across as ungrateful. However, as a single parent, the travel costs to the specific stores where the voucher can be used would exceed the value of the voucher itself. This means I would lose even more money just to redeem it, which only adds to the frustration. As a long-time customer, I expected better — not just in product quality, but in how situations like this are handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that no one else has to go through a similar experience.

Complaint: I purchased the Head & Shoulders Anti-Hair Fall shampoo expecting it to help reduce my hair fall while also controlling dandruff. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. After using the product, I noticed that my hair became extremely dry and rough and always felt sticky. Instead of improving my hair fall, it actually seemed to make it worse, as I started noticing more hair shedding than before. My hair also felt coated and unnatural after washing, which is not something I’ve experienced with other shampoos. While the shampoo may help with dandruff to some extent, it does not deliver on its anti-hair fall claims. The dryness and increased shedding are very concerning, especially for a product marketed specifically for this purpose. I expected better results from a well-known brand, and this experience has been frustrating. Resolution Requested: I would like the company to investigate this issue and provide feedback, as well as consider a refund or explanation regarding the product’s effects. Additional Comments: Consumers should be made aware that this product may not be suitable for all hair types and could potentially worsen hair condition instead of improving it.

Last year I contacted the customer care service at P&G to bring to their attention the defective wet wipes we received from Pampers (it was not the fist time we found the packaging on their wet wipes to be sup par). The packaging is terrible and tears which in turn dries the wet wipes out. I logged a case with their customer care team who, did not seem to understand the problem despite the pictures I had sent. Thereafter I was told it would be sent to the relevant department and radio silence after. We have since switched brands because the service is pathetic

Over the past couple of months I'm noticed the material and quality of pampers has changed. It's no longer absorbent either which caused my child to get a rash. From the 24 November I've been filling in the same questions as apparently my response wasn't received. The agent then went on to ask for a picture of my baby's nappy rash . She's a 2 year old baby girl. Which parent in their right mind would want to do that. Pampers was supposed to be "the best". This is truly disappointing
