Billed 3 December 2025, This service was used for our fridge belonging to my elderly parents and was the most appalling service received for our fridge. The technician didn't even advise that due to the year of the model being and old Samsung double door fridge/freezer that the parts would be difficult to find. Instead they set to work and hit us with a bill which we paid-R2500. The invoice has no guarantee or warranty provided on their work. A week and a half later the fridge was completely dead. They said it was a different part and that we wouldn't be charged for labour and they need to find the part and give us a quote. Firstly they didn't even give an estimation of the part that would be needed and after not having a fridge or freezer at all for almost a month during the festive season. They proceeded to hang up on and ignore calls from my sister who was in contact with them regarding the problem. Extremely poor business ethic by not providing quotes before hand and just expecting payment without quotes on parts and labour prior to actioning or agreement that financially would be able to. Ethical practice is to give notice that you wi struggle to find parts for a model before hand. The customer can then decide if they will be proceeding with your company or looking at other options. Not providing again an estimate quote before hand for the "different issue" that needs another new part - more ********* practice. Treating paying customers poorly when trying to have some help or information that they cant fulfill the process and letting our food spoil and needing to be thrown out after waiting into the second week of January 2026 for this company to take our calls or reach out with the fact that they cant fulfill. Leading us on all that time. This was an incredibly stressful experience for the family. By which it feels like a ****ming way to go about business. Please look for reputable companies or seek a second opinion before deciding to go with this company. It it were possible this company in the service and ********* business practice with our family should received 0 stars or less.
I love the items online and the variety of styles and sizes, website is easy to navigate. I have a problem with deliveries arriving at 7am and anytime before 8am. Shipping delivery hours are advertised as being 8am-5pm business hours. Then why wake people between 6-7am for delivery? regardless of location to depo, this is unsociable hours and is not considered business hours.
The area I live is close to the depo - I am extremely unhappy with receiving packages at 6:45-7:50am I often am woken up by a delivery at before 7am and I start work later so will not necessarily be up at that time. To my knowledge shipping delivery hours are between 8am and 5pm business operation hours and should not be waking me up before 8am The way packages are handled are so poorly - a driver has delivered broken glass contents that have leaked all over the box and he concealed the damaged leaked package between all the other boxes, knowing that the package was broken and leaking through. So this also leaked onto the other boxes. I have witnessed a driver throw a package into the street next to his car door then flip the package over in the street. No regard for contents of package.

I requested a call back to cancel my insurance plan since I couldn't afford the premium any longer since being with, FFW since 2013. I spoke to Portia who was very understanding and gave me some options that would allow me to keep the insurance and reduced the cost. Additionally I confirmed that if I cant afford it, I will be able to to cancel and she answered my questions. Thank you for your service Portia I appreciate it.
