This company is unreliable. My partner requested ther services as our washing machine was not completing washing cycles. Their technician only came on 01/02/2026 to fix the machine but we never used it that day as I have already used the laundromat previous day. The machine only worked one weekend on 07/02/2026. Weekend of the 14/02/2026 the machine was not completing washing cycles again and I had to use the laundromat once again. We contacted Appliance technicians and they advised they will come repair on 20/02/2026 but they did not pitch. The technician said he will come on Saturday but no one came. Then the technician said will be late on that Saturday but still did not pitch. I had to use the Laundromat again that night. I sent my dissatisfaction to them and spoke to a guy called Robert who advised that I will get a technician on Friday 27/02/2026 and no one came. The technician called me to tell me he can only come through on Saturday as he's car is being serviced I asked him if didnt he know the car will be serviced but he didnt answer me. I then contacted the company again and I was told he will be there on Satuday 28/02/2026 but no one came to my house. I had two event to attend, I had Discovery 10km run and I had Killarney drags in the afternoon. I didn't even get to attend those events. Because I had to go to the Laundromat again and I decided to buy a new machine yesterday. Now I am on for the to refund me. Which is a struggle.

I am posting this as a follow-up to my previous review, as the matter remains unresolved. Despite my earlier complaint and repeated attempts to engage with Appliance Technicians, the full refund has still not been processed. This is now several months after payment was made, and after it became clear that the service could not be completed and the fridge remains unfixed. Communication has been inconsistent, with messages often ignored and no clear timelines provided. Promises to revert or resolve the issue have not been honoured. At this stage, the lack of action reflects poor after-sales service and a lack of accountability. I am still requesting a full refund for the undelivered part and unsuccessful labour, which is a reasonable and fair expectation under the circumstances. I am extremely disappointed that this matter has dragged on for so long without resolution.

Billed 3 December 2025, This service was used for our fridge belonging to my elderly parents and was the most appalling service received for our fridge. The technician didn't even advise that due to the year of the model being and old Samsung double door fridge/freezer that the parts would be difficult to find. Instead they set to work and hit us with a bill which we paid-R2500. The invoice has no guarantee or warranty provided on their work. A week and a half later the fridge was completely dead. They said it was a different part and that we wouldn't be charged for labour and they need to find the part and give us a quote. Firstly they didn't even give an estimation of the part that would be needed and after not having a fridge or freezer at all for almost a month during the festive season. They proceeded to hang up on and ignore calls from my sister who was in contact with them regarding the problem. Extremely poor business ethic by not providing quotes before hand and just expecting payment without quotes on parts and labour prior to actioning or agreement that financially would be able to. Ethical practice is to give notice that you wi struggle to find parts for a model before hand. The customer can then decide if they will be proceeding with your company or looking at other options. Not providing again an estimate quote before hand for the "different issue" that needs another new part - more ********* practice. Treating paying customers poorly when trying to have some help or information that they cant fulfill the process and letting our food spoil and needing to be thrown out after waiting into the second week of January 2026 for this company to take our calls or reach out with the fact that they cant fulfill. Leading us on all that time. This was an incredibly stressful experience for the family. By which it feels like a ****ming way to go about business. Please look for reputable companies or seek a second opinion before deciding to go with this company. It it were possible this company in the service and ********* business practice with our family should received 0 stars or less.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Appliance Technicians. They came to diagnose my fridge several times and even performed some repairs at a cost of R2 900, but the fridge is still not working. They later claimed that an additional part costing R4 600 was needed and asked for payment to order it from their supplier. It has now been two full months and I still don’t have a working fridge. Despite several follow-ups, they rarely give updates and often ignore my messages. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional, especially after I have already paid for work and a part that has not been delivered. At this stage, I am requesting a full refund for the part and any labour costs charged, since the service was never completed and my fridge remains unfixed. I would not recommend Appliance Technicians based on my experience — poor communication, long delays, and lack of accountability.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Appliance Technicians. Absolutely bad service - shocking :( never arrives when says so - we keep calling them to remind them. Eventually they were here in September to fix our Smeg three of them removed the motherboard came back a week late to replaced a new mother board. Cost of R2360 three weeks ago the fan stopped working same story a week or so later returns open the back there is a cover missing from wires at the back promises to return and we are still waiting for them to come back .

Extremely bad service. My oven is probably in a worse state now than before, after paying call out, fixing the problem and a service, a bill of 1950 ZAR, now I’m convinced there is a gas leek. I’ve requested for them to come back, twice they have just not pitched, not contacted me back after several attempts on my side. I paid immediately, trusting that they had done the work quoted and invoice promised, nothing received… now I need to get someone else… just madness that this can actually happen with no repercussions..

Extremely bad service. My oven is probably in a worse state now than before, after paying call out, fixing the problem and a service, a bill of 1950 ZAR, now I’m convinced there is a gas leek. They dont even deserve any stars. WORST SERVICE EVER. Makes an appointment, dont show up, i contact them, just to hear the product is not ready yet. They reschedule, guess what, again no phone call or communication that they need to cancel, just nothing, they just dont pitch! Contact them again, product not ready. DO NOT TRUST THEM, DO NOT TO BUISNESS WITH THEM, THEY JUST LIE!!!
