I must admit being irritated by the high frequency of OUTsurance adverts seen everywhere but was pleasantly surprised by the seamless and professional way that this company has structured its business. The sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and VERY obliging. The policy T's & C's are stated in a way that anybody can understand them (there is no fine print "that taketh way"!) We eventually converted all our insurance to OUTsurance and are getting more for much less.
Professional electrical contractor, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, highly recommended!
Shocking service. I can't even get these guys to provide me with a quote despite 4 attemps!
We purchased a set of speakers and sent it back because the one channel stopped working after about three days. Takealot said they found nothing wrong with the set and after two weeks it was delivered back to us. Now, again after two days the one channel has stopped working. We don't know how to resolve this because Takealot doesn't have a telephone number or a complaints channel. The agents we deal wiith are arrogant and refuse to engage in a conversation about the fault. They clearly don't care about looking after their customers. I will never purchase any thing from Takealot again.
My son purchased a set of speakers which were found to be faulty once set up. He returned them within 3 days to Takealot with a full explaiation of the fault, only to have the reject his claim, saying that the speakers work perfectly. He asked them to reassess the speakers properly. This is the last we have heard from Takealot. Rubbish service! Extremely frustrating because they don't have a phone nu,mber or a complaints channel.
Excellent service from Brights Mitchells Plain. I ordered online and included delivery by courier of approx. R800.00. They contacted me to say they would deliver using one of their own vehicles and that delivery would only cost R150. When the goods were delivered I was handed an envelope with the change! This was so refreshing after having to cancel an order on Builders Warehouse because they wanted to charge me R1150.00 for delivery of the same goods!
I have eventually received my order. However, I'm in doubt as to whether I would have received it if it wasn't for the pressure placed on Manicaa by being reviewed on hellopeter.com Thanks anyway Manicaa for your efforts. It is good to have eventually received my order.
I wrote a previous review which was taken down for some unknow reason. I placed an order on 13 July 2020. The order was supposed to be ex stock JHB. They then informed me that it would be delivered by 7 September, which was then again revised to 19 October. I sent several emails asking if the order is on track for the 19 October deadline and have received no reply....... This company is not to be trusted. Place your business elsewhere!
Wish I'd read these reviews before placing my order. The goods were supposed to be ex stock JHB. I placed my order in July and still no delivery. The "SUPPORT" team messages me back to say they are inundated with emails and will reply on a first come first served basis. Not surprised they are inundated????? Take this site down!
