I am a new customer of this company. The professionalism by Ken is second to none. The turnaround time to process a quote is absolutely on point. Thanks Ken, keep up the good work, you guys are my go to people.

Atrocious customer service. It feels like the staff are intent on creating every opportunity preventing a sale I sent a simple drawing of the item I want to make, with measurements, and requested a quote on 3 different types of material. I was refused a quote on the basis that I must provide a cutting list. I nearly expected the sales person to know something about material and drawings while working in The Board Store

Atrocious customer service. Customer service is truly dismal. Staff often disappear behind the counter for minutes on end. The majority of the floor staff is unfriendly and don't seem to want to sell you anything. They do not respond to emails if you try to place an order remotely but then also seem as if they don't want you in store because of COVID regulations. Customers are asked to reverse their vehicles into the workshop area (past the sign that says no customers allowed beyond this point) in order for the staff to load your purchase when you can come to collect it. When there are other customers in the bay, they don't bring your purchase out and you are forced to wait indefinitely until the previous customer leaves the designated area, even though the parking bays are right next to the area. The staff also didn't ask a customer if he could move his vehicle when he spent at least 15 mins securing the wood at the back of his bakkie after they had loaded it. There is ample parking space close enough for customers not to have to block the work flow after they have received their items and the staff just ignore any requests to assist.

I sent through a list of things I wanted to them and I dealt with Angelo who sent me a quotation. The following day my carpenter went to the store and included other things and Angelo then told me the price on the previous quotation has changed, so I then requested him to send me an email with the full quotation and the final amount which he did and I then paid for everything. They delivered woods and when my carpenter came he found that something was missing from the things they delivered. When he went to the store for them to give him the missing item, they informed him I never paid for it therefore they can't give and when I called them to speak to Angelo I'm told he is on leave therefore I need to pay for the missing item since it was not included in the quotation. I need a refund for this because I was given a final quotation including the items my carpenter included. These people wants me to pay again for something that I was told is included in the quotation. This is not my issue but instead ais take from the salesman. Please kindly refund my money.

Today 31 July 2015 I went into the board store to make a purchase and then the sales person informs me none of the staff are allowed to serve my husband or me. The owner Gavin Wooley has never been given any reason to band us from making a purchase. I was extremely embarrassed as there were other customers in the store. I am disgusted in the customer service and won't recommend anyone to go there.
